9:44AM Jess McGuire | Here is a clip of horrendous quality which shows The Veronicas serenading MTV’s Ruby Rose on stage with a tune called I Could Get Used To This. There’s a nice moment where the blonde one (I’m assuming it’s Jess) strokes the back of Ruby’s neck, an act which appears to have put fans into a Sapphic frenzy in the YouTube comments, but let’s remember that all parties have denied a hot lesbian romance and we should believe them (until notorious paparazzi Jamie Fawcett delivers the photographic goods).

10:10AM Jess McGuire | A hearty congratulations to the Sezbian and Idol Virginity Respecting Origliasso twins who make up Aussie pop duo The Veronicas, as the pair have cracked the US Top Twenty with the single ‘Untouched’. Not the easiest thing in the world to do – the last time an Australian achieved such a feat was seven years ago.
The Veronicas have cracked the US Top 20 with their hit single Untouched, which reached number 17 in the Billboard Top 100 this week. They are the first Australian artist or group to make the top 20 since 2002, when Kylie Minogue hit number seven on the charts with Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.
Yesterday when I heard that Kylie was the last Australian performer to have such success in the US pop charts, I mistakenly assumed it was with the Emilíana Torrini-penned single ‘Slow’ and felt weird about the whole thing. That it was ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ which blew American minds makes much more sense. More »

Two Members Of Aussie Rock Band ‘The Follow’ Have Gone Missing In The States!

Sydney band The FolloW, recently in the news because their front man Azaria (yes, front man, Daily Telegraph!) used to date Jess from The Veronicas before she decided she preferred the company of MTV’s Ruby Rose, have announced on their MySpace page that they’ve filed a missing persons report and contacted the Australian Consulate because members KJ and Azaria have gone missing.
On August 26th, the band’s manager Gabe Deluc posted the following on the site.
WE’VE BEEN INFORMED THAT AZARIA AND KJ HAVE BEEN MISSING SINCE FRIDAY AUGUST 22ND. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON THEIR WHEREABOUTS, PLEASE CONTACT US. KJ AND AZARIA WERE LAST SEEN IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD AT THE CORNER OF BURBANK & VINELAND. CONCERNED FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS SHOULD CONTACT JaK COLEMAN FOR MORE INFORMATION.
