Anyway, throughout all the legal proceedings, Newts shacked up with Gracie Otto, daughter of Barry, though their coupling lacked the raw Aussie-television-drama’s-hottest-stars power of his relationship with Satchwell. Well, imagine our surprise when today we read this little tidbit! He’s a dab hand at being controversial so its no wonder Matthew Newton looked like the cat that got the cream when he turned up to a film premiere this week with a sexy brunette who definitely wasn’t Gracie Otto. Newton and his lady in red were the photographer’s pick of the crimson rug crop at The Final Winter opening, with flashbulbs popping furiously at the sight of the actor linking arms with actress Sophie Katinis. If he looks like the cat that got the cream in that photo, then the cream must’ve either been from a yak, or five weeks past its use-by date. Gracie Otto Talks Short Film, Matthew Newton, Sporty Lesbians

12:39PM Jess McGuire | Daughter of actor Barry and paramour of troubled star Matthew Newton, Gracie Otto, has given a revealing interview to The Age in which she, like, talks about her high school drama project, how she hooked up with Bert’s son, and future film projects. Excellent. But our favourite part of the interview was where Gracie discussed her soccer-playing past and thoughts on female football team Sydney City. She still loves soccer, though she’s been too busy to play much lately. Her team is Sydney City, an outfit so formidable it’s been forced to play in the men’s comp. “We always win, because all the girls are ex-Australian team players. And they all go out with each other.
