Pop stars Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia have teamed up for a girls’ holiday in Mauritius.
The Australian stars, who have both starred in Neighbours, have been staying at a luxury £3000-a-night ($6300) Shanti Ananda resort on the tropical island.
The Sunday Mirror newspaper in Britain reported the stars, who are both single after Minogue’s split with French actor Oliver Martinez and the breakdown of Imbruglia’s marriage to Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns, were being pampered.
We can only imagine the gossipy conversations going on as we speak, the petite pair lying side by side on massage tables and having the stresses of the pop world rubbed and pounded out of them.
K: Do you really think Olivier was cheating on me?
N: Of course not! Do you really think Daniel was bumming Paul Mac?

Daniel Johns = Not Gay (Or Possibly Was Gay Before Being Lured Back To Heterosexuality By Breakfast Radio Host)
3:32PM Jess McGuire | Daniel Johns decided to use Melbourne’s Big Day Out on Monday to put those “He’s doing it Greco-Roman style with Paul Mac!” rumours to rest with a rather succinct public announcement.
For the past few years, there’s been speculation about Daniel Johns’ sexuality. But the Silverchair frontman wants everyone to know – he’s not gay.
At Monday’s Big Day Out in Melbourne, Johns told the crowd in no uncertain terms that he’s a red-blooded heterosexual male.
“I’m not f—— gay,” he said between songs.
To show he doesn’t care what anyone thinks, Johns wore a lacy garter on stage.

We heard a rumour that Daniel’s firm declaration he loved nothing more than hunting vagina in his spare time was possibly prompted by an encounter by JJJ breakfast radio host Marieke Hardy on Saturday.
Being ruthless journalistic types (cough), we spent the entire day trying to track Hardy down in order to interrogate her about her relationship with Daniel Johns. Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns and his actress musician wife Natalie Imbruglia have ended their four-year marriage.
The pair, who married near Port Douglas on New Year’s Eve in 2003, cited distance and career demands for their decision to split.
“While we are very sad that our marriage has ended, we want to make it clear that our parting is amicable and we remain friends,” the pair said in a joint statement last night. “This mutual decision has not been taken lightly or quickly.

Johns wears army pants, an emerald-green suit coat over a white T-shirt, a pink scarf and black Blundstones. His eyes are smeared with blue-green eye shadow, his chin adorned with a manicured goatee.
Note that Donovan manages to avoid using the word “bloodshot” in the above description, and resists the temptation to point out the bottle of Murine, the Mount Franklin bottle with a piece of garden hose jutting out of it, and the Midnight Oil album all clearly visible in Johns’ backpack.
