Newly Betrothed Miranda Kerr And Orlando Bloom Celebrate Their Commitment With A Romantic Holiday In Venice
8:30AM Jess McGuire | Hearty congratulations to Gunnedah girl turned Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr who is set to become Mrs Orlando Bloom next year, with the Aussie model announcing her engagement to the Pirates Of The Caribbean heartthrob over the weekend. Huzzah!
Miranda Kerr will marry her British boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom, The Sunday Telegraph can exclusively reveal.
The wedding is planned for the middle of next year, when both have a break from work commitments. Bloom and Kerr, who live together in New York, celebrated their engagement with a romantic getaway in Venice last week.
And it sounds as though said celebration probably involved wheat grass shots and some sun salutations. More » 
The Countdown To Dean Geyer’s Becoming A Man Starts… Now!
9:10AM Clem Bastow | Happy news – or sad news, if you’re approximately 13-years-old – from the teen pop fraternity: Lisa “The Veronicas” Origliasso and Dean “Still A Virgin” Geyer have announced their engagement!
Evidently Lisa was tired of taking out stocks in AA batteries the couple are very much in love and despite having put the kybosh on marriage talk only months ago, have decided to take a long walk up a short aisle.
“Dean Geyer and Lisa Origliasso, together with their families, are delighted to announce they are engaged,” the statement said.
“The couple have been together since April 2007 and are thrilled to share their news.”
Origliasso, 23, and Geyer, 22, met at the ARIA Awards in 2006, when The Veronicas won the best pop release for their debut album The Secret Life Of…

Kate Moss “Announces” Marriage; Somewhere, Pete Doherty Whimpers Softly
5:12PM Clem Bastow | We’ve been watching Kate Moss’ burgeoning relationship with The Kills’ Jamie Hince for some time, repeating a mantra of “DON’T FUCK IT UP” in the hope that all will go well and she will never, ever return to the nicotine-stained side of Pete Doherty.
Well, it looks as though our words of love and support have worked their cosmic charms – it seems Hince and Moss, on hols in Amsterdam, are set to wed!
A source told The Sun: “They were looking very loved-up. Kate was so excited it looked like she had just accepted his proposal there and then. She was very happy.
“She came out giggling and seemed a little bit tipsy. Lots of fans were taking her picture on their mobile phones. She told them, ‘I’m getting married’.”
The source added: “One girl asked her when, and she said, ‘Soon’.”
Kate also reportedly talked about her marriage plans to a unnamed fashion journalist she met in the city’s Cafe Tabac.
We don’t usually invest much energy into celebrity couplings, but we’ve always loved Kate Moss and we do think Jamie Hince is a bit spesh (his band’s certainly better than Doherty’s efforts), so this is Defamer Australia, officially crossing our fingers that this is all true and good. More »
