1:20PM Jess McGuire | Australia’s favourite de facto son-in-law Brian McFadden will be stoked to learn that his batshit crazy ex-wife Kerry “Chipshop” Katona has been making public digs about his sexual prowess. Better be careful, Kerry – Delta may have innocent eyes, but bitch’d claw your eyes out in a cat fight. More »

1:07PM Jess McGuire | Remember last weekend when I mentioned I saw Delta Goodrem, Brian McFadden, Ruby Rose, and Molly Meldrum all hanging out at The Corner Hotel after Sia’s gig? And then we discovered that Delta had pulled a sickie that day? Readers who also attended the gig began coming forward and remarking on the behaviour of Delta’s fiance that evening, and the following story was too good to be left behind in Commentville.

10:55AM Jess McGuire | The gossip rags have turned against Our Delta (well, as much as they’re willing to) and have begun questioning why she announced she was too ill to perform at the Grand Prix, but somehow ended up hanging out with me at The Corner Hotel before shaking her groove thing at a nightclub in Melbourne. What gives?

4:55PM Jess McGuire | Last night I went to see Sia perform at The Corner. The CSS remix of Buttons is currently being flogged on the national youth broadcaster, and this Australian tour was presented by NOVA and MTV (I know!), so unsurprisingly it was a sell out show. And also packed with famous people!

11:33AM Jess McGuire | Australians are mostly familiar with Kerry Katona through her connection to Our Delta. Kerry, a former member of pop band Atomic Kitten, was married to Delta’s fiance Brian McFadden, and she is the mother of his two children. If you still can’t picture who I’m talking about, read up. Anyway, the most important thing for you to remember is despite everything you may know about her indicated that perhaps she dabbles with substances of the illicit sort, she does not take drugs. Any more.

1:57PM Jess McGuire | Here’s one thing I know for sure about Defarnham Australia readers – when they’re not busy celebrating the majesty that is Whispering Jack, they’re revelling in the love affair that is the Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden romance. Many thought their union wouldn’t last, despite the palpable chemistry they displayed in their stunningly emotional duet Almost Here (Delta at her voice-cracking-from-sheer-intensity-of-lyrics best), but the naysayers have been proven wrong. They’re still together! They tour together! Brian loves AFL now! And best of all, they’ve promised to get cracking with their nuptials.

12:42PM Jess McGuire | Okay, when I recently got a little excited about Delta Goodrem’s concert series and began running off at the mouth about how awesome her Dirty Dancing duets with lover Brian ‘The Potato’ McFadden sounded, I may have been taking the mickey just a little.
But the Delta fans who commented on my tongue-brushing-gently-against-cheek rave about the greatest showbiz personality to ever emerge from Sydney’s Hills District (sorry, Bec Cartwright) have led me to believe that I may have unintentionally been onto something.
Delta fan Jennifer commented “theres bits where you get up annd dance. and bits when you are just amazed with deltas talent. she is just amazing!” and if that doesn’t sound fantastic (or should I say ‘amazing’?) to you, then you’re a fool.
A review in the Courier Mail confirms that Delta’s tour is the greatest thing to ever happen in this country, although it sounds as though it’s McFadden whose responsible for delivering the concert goods. More »
Delta’s Live Shows Keep Sounding Better And Better!

4:35PM Jess McGuire | I only ask because it sounds as though it would have been an unbelievably fantastic and/or hilarious gig. Check out this review of her Adelaide shows in The Advertiser. It makes me want to cough up good money to go and see Delta in concert. Also, I find myself watching the piano-humping happy video clip for Delta’s ode to The Poo’s love (Out Of The Blue) on YouTube and laughing in a tender, loving way. Damn you, Adelaide Advertiser! I have important things to do, stop encouraging me to procrastinate by obsessing over Delta Goodrem’s music career!
The Australian pop princess wowed the audience at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre last night in the first of her two Adelaide concerts for the Believe Again tour. Opening the show with her hit Believe Again, Goodrem looked every bit the princess, styled in a specially designed Bowie dress. Joining Goodrem on tour was her fiance and seemingly part-time comedian, Irish singer Brian McFadden. The couple performed their duet Almost Here as well as rock ‘n’ roll classic Do you Love Me?, complete with “mashed potato” actions.
Can’t you just imagine it? Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden impersonating Baby and Johnny Castle on stage as they belt out some vintage “rock ‘n’ roll”?
If you went to the show, please let us know (in detail!) what it was like to experience such a spacktacular event in the flesh.
