Tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt has turned to soccer star David Beckham for inspiration in naming his newborn son. Lleyton and his wife Bec are celebrating the birth of their second child, Cruz. Cruz was born in Sydney’s Royal North Shore hospital on Thursday. He is a brother to Mia, 3.

‘SNL’ Prepares For Future Sans Brand-New Baby Mama Amy Poehler
2:20AM Kyle Buchanan | While it is a joyous event that comedians Amy Poehler and Will Arnett delivered their first child, Archibald, over the weekend, we recognise that this development has some downsides, too (though perhaps not the ones implied by the above “circle of child life and death” feature that is currently gracing the front page of Yahoo!). For starters, this marks Poehler’s end on Saturday Night Live, as the new mother will be segueing to her still-untitled NBC sitcom after some well-deserved maternity leave. Just as devastating: Poehler’s unplanned absence from this week’s live taping of SNL forced the audience to sit through a third, hastily scheduled Coldplay performance. Still, at least Poehler ducked out before she had to take part in the painful Barack Obama skit that Lorne Michaels pointlessly lured Maya Rudolph back for. 2:24PM Jess McGuire | Congratulations to Honey To The Bee singer* Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox, who recently became first time parents.
The 26 year-old delivered son Winston James Fox at the private Portland Hospital yesterday by Caesarean Section. Both mother and baby are believed to be doing well. Her husband Laurence Fox drove her to the hospital and was present for the birth. Mr Fox celebrated the birth with a pint of lager in the local Green Man pub next to the Portland yesterday with a group of friends.
Bless ‘em. Apparently Laurence was hesitant to reveal his new son’s name to the media, considering it “a private moment”, but thankfully Billie’s ex-husband Chris Evans promptly took to his blog and revealed all. 11:42AM Jess McGuire | Congratulations to this year’s Australian Idol ocker of choice Luke Dickens (his facial hair takes Shannon Noll’s flavour savour to whole new levels) who became a father on Monday after his partner delivered their first child a little earlier than expected. Unfortunately, Luke missed the birth itself as he was busy being better than Thanh Bui.
With the baby boy making an early appearance – he was due in December – the show had to go on for girlfriend Brooke Rodgers, who delivered during Monday’s live verdict show.
