This just in - apparently our free-spirited whale saving heroine Isabel Lucas was the passenger in the car that Transformers and Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf crashed while driving under the influence! And she's going out with Adrian Grenier! Who is pissed off! How many more exclamation marks can we use!!!

LaBeouf's 23-year-old Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen co-star was reportedly sat next to him when he made a left turn on a red light and crashed his Ford F150 around 2.45am (local time) on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Isabel Lucas and Adrian Grenier are fast becoming a more interesting version of Alicia "vegan beeswax candles at my wedding" Silverstone and whoever her husband is when it comes to the eco-conscious celebrity coupling of the moment.

Taking a brief timeout from her hectic dolphin saving schedule, Isabel has popped up in Grenier's new vanity project eco documentary series for US cable, the wittily titled Alter Eco.

Lucas, the Australian face of the anti-whaling campaign, is assisting and starring in Grenier's debut producing project Alter Eco, a 13-part series for cable channel Planet Green.

Set in LA, the show follows Grenier and his green entourage as they help people take steps to live more environmentally-sustainable lifestyles.

"I'm helping out wherever I can because I think it's a fantastic concept," Lucas told Confidential from her parent's home in Cairns yesterday.

"Adrian has always been ecologically-conscious and we definitely relate on that."
