3:26PM Jess McGuire | James Packer was planning on buying a big ol’ family home in the Sydney beach suburb of Bondi, but after having a good long think about it, he’s decided to keep a hold of the bachelor pad that served him so well after his well publicised break ups with Katie “Kate” Fischer and Jodhi “Jodi” Meares.
Wife Erica Baxter and colourfully named infant Indigo Packer needn’t worry about James’ plans for the future though – it’s because of the real estate market. Of course!
With his wealth in decline, James Packer has temporarily shelved plans to buy the perfect family home in Bondi and upgrade from his longtime bachelor pad. His wife Erica Baxter has reportedly persuaded him that daughter Indigo, now six months, will need the privacy of a backyard far from Bondi’s paparazzi.

Today is a great day then, folks, because Jodhi Meares’ brother was convicted of assaulting a policeman he believed was a pimp.
Before being found guilty of assaulting a policeman yesterday, the brother of Jodhi Meares said; he thought the two undercover officers in the incident were “a pimp and his prostitute”.

8:51AM Clem Bastow | After the whole ‘oh moy gourd, you guise, Jodhi Meares has totally quit Australia’s Next Top Model, this is soy upsetting’ fiasco, industry tattle talk has turned to discussing which leggy stunner will take over from the Tigerlilly designer in the show’s host/mentor role. So, while Foxtel remain tight-lipped and watercoolers at Portmans stores the country over are deep in considered conversation on the topic, the Tele’s Ros Reines offered her own theories on the topic:

2:25PM Clem Bastow | After news broke that Jodhi Meares would not be returning to her Australia’s Next Top Model clipboard full of notes, naturally thoughts turned to Charlotte Dawson (pictured at left enjoying a pie or twenty) stepping in and ably filling Ms Meares’ Jimmy Choos. And while Dawson – nor Foxtel – will give a concrete answer either way, I think we can safely assume the job will be (failing a guerilla casting call by Ian Thorpe) going to Dawson. “It would definitely be something that I would love to do,” the former model said, “but I don’t mind either way because I love what I am doing now as well.” More »

9:45AM Clem Bastow | After months of not-very-convincing hand-wringing and assuring everyone that yes, she will come back to Australia’s Next Top Model – not to mention a brief foray into soft furnishings – Jodhi Meares has surprised absolutely no one by announcing her decision to quit her AusNTM hosting gig.
Foxtel boss Brian Walsh continued his praise for Meares’ “invaluable contribution” to the show.
