An Open Letter To Josh Thomas

Jess McGuire; “I hadn’t fully comprehended how traumatic it would be for anyone to read a differing opinion on the internet”
Hahahahaha!
Are you perhaps scared of something yourself Ms McGuire, or are you just a bit shy?
I’m still waiting you know.
I do like a good debate, but it’s not much chop if my oponent refuses to participate, and refuses to back up their words.

Keep smiling Jess. I”m sure it would do you the world of good. =]

An Open Letter To Josh Thomas

Well I’d appreciate an answer Ms McGuire. Will you publish these ‘insane replies’ or not. You should back up what you say please, or retract it and make an apology if you have any integrity at all.
Of course you can shout out that “BUT YOU MUST LAUGH AT THIS STUFF” ( I seriously only thought that kiddies in their mummy’s basement shouted so much on the internet Ms Mcguire), and I’m sure you’ll have a ball dragging up old wounds and giving the kids another poke to see if you can elicit some kind of rage that you can laugh at.
Personally I find this sort of behaviour rather immature, but it’s your site.

You’re welcome to sign up at Woodwork Forums, and speak to the fans directly if you wish. I have to warn you though that the owner ‘Neil’ runs a tight ship, and it’s a very popular family friendly place, and any disrespect will get you banned. Swear words are automatically censored as well.

Of course I’m still waiting for a response on whether you think me worthy of becoming your friend. There’s no censorship at my Facebook, and I’d like to invite you over to meet my friends and family. They are respectful people all of them, and you’ve nothing to be afraid of. You can carry on however you like, but I won’t guarantee that you won’t be laughed at if we find your behaviour immature.
Please do me the courtesy of at least replying to my request.

Will you be my friend or not Ms McGuire?

There’s too much hate in this world, and as far as I’m concerned, you can never have too many friends.

On Bindi Irwin...

I’d like to know if there’s a character limit here Jess, because I’d like to tell you of some amazing experiences that I’ve recently had with some very special Short Stack fans.
They may be quite lengthy responses, but they are very heartwarming stories, and the experiences have moved me close to tears. Perhaps your subscribers would benefit from reading them, and perhaps it may increase your readership. I’m always happy to help in that regard Jess.
I think it’s most appropriate to post them here, since there’s a picture of a young girls smile at the top of the page.

It gives you at least a glimmer of how it would feel to be responsible for making a child happy, and I don’t think anyone would like to wipe the smile of young Bindi’s face.

I was reserving the publishing of these tales to Woodwork Forums, where I’m busy taking orders for the personalised stickers that I’m making for fans.
I’d be more than happy to publish them here first though, and give you the ’scoop’, if anyone believes that they are worth reading.

If you could just tell me if there’s a character limit, then I could tailor my responses to suit eh?

An Open Letter To Josh Thomas

You seem to be approving my comments without a response.
I’d still like to have an answer to my question here you know. Here it is again Jess;
“Oh that would be interesting wouldn’t it Jess?”
You seem to have made a promise to drag these comments up, so could you tell me if you have any idea when that will happen?

But I’ll stop pestering you if you just answer a simple question for me. It may save us both a lot of time in the long run, because then you won’t have to keep reading and approving my comments.

I’ll make it nice and simple for you since you seem to be very busy.

Are you going to honour your promise, and publish the ‘hundreds of insane replies’ that you’ve gotten or not?

A simple yes or no will suffice, but if you’re too busy, then simply hit ‘Y’ or ‘N’, and I won’t have to ask again eh.

On Bindi Irwin...

I wonder who her favourite band is Jess. Most young girls like music, and I’m still wondering if you’ll respond to my question, because I’d like to relate some stories to you of experiences that I’ve had recently.

They are most heartwarming, and perhaps your readers will agree with me when I post them here.

So Jess, my question still stands.
Wouldn’t you like to put a smile on a young girls face young lady?

Perhaps we could learn something from each other if it’s not beneath you to accept my offer of friendship on my Facebook.

I still haven’t had a response on whether you’d like me to make you some ‘Princess Jess’ stickers. They really do put a smile on the young one’s faces, and I’d like to do the same for you if I could Jess.

Or perhaps you’ll just keep ignoring me.
No matter. There seems to be a lot of months for me to get through yet anyway.

Keep smiling Jess. =]

An Open Letter To Josh Thomas

So are you going to poke them with a stick and laugh at their comments Jess?
You’ve published my comment, but I’ve yet to see a response to my question.

“PS: Seriously, I will somehow go back in time and publish the hundreds of insane replies I received during the Short Stack debacle if it’ll make you feel better.”
I’m waiting Jess.
Let me know when it happens please.

And if you feel that I’m not too far beneath you, I’m still waiting for a reply on my friend request on Facebook.

BassBook Watch: Natalie Is Partying With Australian Soap Stars!

Another post without much love.
I like to help people out by making a comment, if they’ve put some work into giving people useful information.

And I take it that you are on Facebook then Jess. There are a few by your name there, and I don’t know which one you are.

I’d like to extend the hand of friendship, and ask that you make me your friend.

The world can be such a nasty place sometimes, and you can never have too many friends.

Keep smiling young lady. =]

Big Country - 'Close Action'

Good post there. In A Big Country is one of my favourites.
Thanks for that Jess. I may not agree with your opinions on some things, but I respect your right to have them. I can see that you’ve tried to promote some acts that are worthy of more attention.

It would be nice if you could give some others the respect that’s due to them, for their talent and perseverance, regardless of your opinions of how they may dress, or how they do their hair, or the audience that they may appeal to.

There’s enough hate in this world already, without stirring up any more I reckon.
I might hit the sack now that I’m almost finished with September.

Keep smiling Jess. =]

An Open Letter To Josh Thomas

“PS: Seriously, I will somehow go back in time and publish the hundreds of insane replies I received during the Short Stack debacle if it’ll make you feel better.”
Oh that would be interesting wouldn’t it Jess?
Why don’t you do just that, or is that just an empty threat? You seem to thrive on controversy around here from what I gather so far, and you know what they say; ‘any publicity is good publicity’ so perhaps you can find some way that this can benefit both you, and my son’s band.

Who knows, it might be quite amusing watching you getting comedy material from young girls who’s anger you’ve stirred by insulting a band that gives them such pleasure.

These things seem to amuse you so go right ahead I say. Have a good laugh at all the hormonally imbalanced youth why don’t you.

After all, they are ‘nothing to be feared’ and they’ll forget about it in a week anyway, eh Jess.
I might be around for a while though.
That is if you decide to publish my comments. No matter if you don’t though. They are linked to Facebook, so they show up there immediately without moderation.
Have a nice day. =]

Dirty Projectors - "Cannibal Resource"

Gee I’m discovering a lot of talent here Jess. It’s a pity that I’m the only one leaving a comment on this article of yours so far. At least you will be reading my comment I suppose, since it’s up for moderation.
Since that video has been removed, I just discovered a performance of ‘Dirty Projectors’ with Bjork. It doesn’t have a great sound quality, but I’ve always liked Bjork. If you search Youtube for “Dirty Projectors w/ Bjork 05.08.09″, you’ll find an interesting little jam session.
Apparently they performed a concert with her to benefit a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shelter for homeless men, women, and children suffering from AIDS.
A most honourable thing for them to do together don’t you think?

Kylie's New Hairstyle - Charlie's Angels Meets 80s Mullet, Apparently

I’m just wondering where you get ‘bogan’ from Jess. That article seems quite complimentary of our Kylie, but perhaps it doesn’t pay to be individual if you’re a tall poppy.

On Bindi Irwin...

I always like to support children, and help them out in any way that I can.
It’s a marvelous feeling to be able to put a smile on a child’s face, and I’m very lucky to be able to do just that right now, by offering free Short Stack stickers to any young fan who wants them.
The cost to me matters little, because a smile on their faces is manifold times return on my investment.

Wouldn’t you like to be able to put a smile on a young girls face Jess?

I find it most rewarding, and I consider myself a very lucky man. Their gratitude brings me to tears sometimes, and I could relate some marvelous stories if I had the time to spend here.

Keep smiling. =]

The Bass' Dedication To Couture Results In Sexy Shop Visit

That chain mail number is unusual attire. Those boots elicit memories of the ‘Pinball Wizard’ from the movie ‘Tommy’. I was always ridiculed for liking Elton John and his flamboyant dress sense, but I suppose for every artist, there are haters out there who’d just like to spoil the pleasure of others.

That’s a shame don’t you think Jess?

Free MP3! | Dan Kelly And The Ukeladies - 'The SUV Song'

I signed up for that download. Very nice thanks.
They’re touring the Basement in November, and I might just go and see them.

They’ve got talent, and they deserve more recognition, just like a lot of bands out there. I love Hawaiian and ukulele music. Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole is my favourite of the genre, but you really should check out the music from Madagascar for some unusual stringed instruments. Especially ‘Rajeri’ on the ‘Valiha’. There’s some very nice clips of Rajeri on Dailymotion that you should take a look at, and you may well decide to blog about them Jess. Take a look at “Dailymotion – 3MA : Anfass – une vidéo Musique”. It’s awesome I reckon. Some very skilled musicians there.
And there’s a brilliant clip on Youtube titled “World Music Potpourri – Tarika (Madagascar)”, that I’d highly recommend.
Keep smiling. =]

Your Animal - "Bad"

That’s a nice cover. Very laid back.
Thanks for that Jess.

YouTube Clip Of The Day

Another post that desrves more love.
The Muppets are awesome, and they usually put a smile on the young one’s faces.

That’s always a good thing, don’t you think Jess?

Keep smiling I say. =)

New Oh Mercy Video Clip For 'Get You Back'

Very nice! And I’d have to agree, that’s a beautiful clip. It’s a pity this post didn’t get more love.
I might post this on my Facebook.

Thanks for the link, and the heads up on Oh Mercy Jess.

YouTube Clip Of The Day

Very nice!
This one’s worth shouting about.
Thanks for the link Jess!

YouTube Clip Of The Day II

It must be pretty bad then eh Jess. ;)
I wish you wouldn’t shout so much, but then I suppose it’s your site, so you can behave however you want. I’d prefer to keep my temper in check if it were me, because I like to follow the basic rules of internet etiquette myself.
I suppose your site wasn’t designed to make friends though, so you’ll shout at whoever you want.
Have a nice day. :)

YouTube Clip Of The Day II

‘NOM NOM NOM’.
Really Jess?
I thought that was kid stuff like smiley faces.
Oh well.

Most adults use bold to emphasise a statement. It gets annoying for some adults when they see anything written in ALL CAPS. It reads as if you’re shouting at people instead of just emphasising a statement. A smilie face would be much more friendly I believe, but we obviously have different standards to each other, and I’m just a big kid at heart.

Alphabeat - "Black And Gold"

Nice one.
Both my parents migrated from Denmark, and I have many relatives there whom I converse with on a regular basis.
I haven’t heard of these guys before, so thanks for the link Jess. I’ll mention it to my relatives.

Letter From The Editor

The comment is on my Facebook, and it has a timestamp. It comes right after my smiley faces (us Stack supporters like smiley faces. We are a happy and friendly lot when you get to know us, and we mean you no harm), and Right before the comment that came afterwards, also linked on my Facebook. There seems to be one missing in between Jess. Here it is again;
“You handled that interview well Jess.
I’m Andy’s old man, and I’ll have to look in to what all this ruckus is about.
Have a nice day, and if you like, I can make you some personalised stickers with “Princess Jess” on them. You’ll have to wait in line though. ;)

HO HO HO
Merry Stackmas.
http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=104406
I can make you my friend and you can look at the timestamp yourself if you like. It’s linked to your article.
It looks like you might have a glitch in your computer Jess, and I’d still like to know if you want a ‘Princess Jess’ sticker. For a friend like you, I’d be happy to put you at the front of the queue.
Have a nice day Jess, and keep smiling, :)

Letter From The Editor

Hey Jess.
The offer still stands, and I still have my comment if you deleted it totally instead of just censoring it.
Like I said if it’s not censored; “Perhaps you don’t like my “Free Short Stack Personalised Stickers”, or perhaps you just don’t want to queue up with the fans.
There’s nothing to be scared of Jess. They won’t bite, and the offer still stands.
I just wish that the comments system here was as open as your letter.
I’d be happy to friend you on my Facebook if you’d like Jess, and I won’t censor your comments.

And If The Open Letter Wasn't Enough...

Perhaps you don’t like my “Free Short Stack Personalised Stickers”, or perhaps you just don’t want to queue up with the fans.
There’s nothing to be scared of Jess. They won’t bite, and the offer still stands.

I’d be happy to friend you on my Facebook if you’d like Jess, and I won’t censor your comments.

And If The Open Letter Wasn't Enough...

It’s a bit surprising that one of my comments has showed up, but the other that I made shortly afterwards is still missing.
I hope it wasn’t too “traumatic” for you Jess. :D
