Being that Getup has backed the BAD GILLARD Government and pushed for a massive carbon tax and a massive mining tax and the destruction of the Australian manufacturing sectors and the mass destruction of the mining industry that has kept Australia afloat during a world recession what credibility does GETUP or any activist group attached to them have. GETUP would see hundreds of thousands of Australian jobs go overseas leaving thousands to loose the homes and drive our economy into the toilet.
Getup is a activist organisation that is out of control and lacks any substantial credibility in its actions. If Getup and those other groups its sides with had any sense of being patriotic hell would have frozen over by now, they are for Australia’s future like the Al qaeda. Seriously they back a bad government, bad policy, and bad activists groups that used to be called just that activist groups that now try to label themselves as scientist, but don’t have the degrees or education to back their claims. GETUP is just a bad organisation of over the top out of control activists with nothing better to do, than act in a manner, which would see our economy fail and thousands and i mean hundreds of thousands of Australian jobs go overseas. If GETUP had any credibility they would have come out against the bad Gillard Government, being that the back the biggest assassin of the Australian mining industry BOB BROWN and the Biggest Assassin of the Australian manufacturing sector BOB Brown getup has no credibility left what so ever, just a bad organisation and they should be ridiculed and Australians should turn away from this Getup organisation who’s leader is obviously against Australians having jobs and a viable long term future backed by a great economy. GETUP as bad as Gillard and Backed by BOB BROWN what a disgrace.

GetUp is the Australian counterpart to George Soros’ MoveOn.org in the United States. The two co-founders of GetUp, Harvard graduates Jeremy Heimans and David Madden, both worked for the Soros-funded MoveOn.org in the U.S. to also launch the global web “movement”, Avaaz.org. Madden was previously a consultant to the World Bank and Heimans previously consulted for the UN, OECD and ILO. And, on behalf of British geopolitical strategy, he has helped topple national governments by financing the creation of fake “grassroots” protest movements, such as the Ukrainian “Orange Revolution” and Georgian “Rose Revolution”, aimed at destabilising Russia. And GetUp is just one more fake “grassroots” movement.

Hang in there guys… Law on their side doesn’t make it right and for them to use that as a righteous reason only shows them in there true colours. Keep it up… Just remember as you know already double verify all your data so they in the long run can’t use their weapons against you. Money and Power.

Is it fair to target high profile businesses?
Reality: Democracy is the court of public opinion which is about peoples values as well as facts; Courts are the arbiters of fact.

Reality: If we want change we must think strategically. That means turning the adversaries strengths (high profile) into a weapon against themselves; ie) Getup tagging their brand with their moral weakness.

My only concern is that some of Getup’s positions are a bit simplistic and my confuse the ongoing evolution of intelligent policy, still they are not government policy.
