On Friday I asked if anyone had any information as to the identity of the international musician who fell through the roof of a Brunswick warehouse has been revealed! It was Trent from the New Zealand band Gatherer!

Gatherer are a New Zealand band, and their music sounds like lots of screaming accompanied by loud chords played very, very fast.t’s not quite my cup of tea, but as any Short Stack fan would tell you, I know nothing about good music. Listen to Gatherer’s songs on MySpazz and see if you think they sound like the kind of musical ensemble who enjoy partying on Brunswick rooftops!

The link goes to this article about the falling drummer on The Age’s website. And I’m sure Gatherer wouldn’t falsely claim their drummer fell off a roof just for publicity! I believe in Gatherer.
In conclusion… “international musician”, The Age? I suppose it’s technically a correct description, but still. You were taking the piss, and I commend you for it.

It was actually Trent who was on holidays with he mates in the USA band Fear Before. Gatherer are a NZ band that were also on the tour.
