‘Saw VI’ Star Surprised To Find Film Gory, Unwatchable

Saw this yesterday and laughed, so, to borrow Fearless Leader’s turn of phrase, REET! REET! This just in from the Day Old News Desk: In what must be the professional understatement of the decade, Saw actor Kostas Mandylor has admitted to finding the “torture porn” series’ latest gorefest “too much” to watch.

Evidently Kostas ran a mile from the dailies when a particular scene tipped his stomach for gore over the edge.

He explains:

[H]e walked away when watching a scene from the upcoming sixth instalment featuring a girl getting her head crushed in a metal bar trap. The scene starred Tanedra Howard, who won the part through a reality TV series.

“She did a really good job. I didn’t watch her do it but I saw some stuff, cause they check everything and I couldn’t look at it,” Mandylor said. “I said that’s too much for me, I’m going to go back to my room.”

Diddums!

In other words, based on the knowledge that Mandylor arrived in the franchise midway at Saw III, scenes that weren’t “too much” for him might include:

• The Intestine Pool
• The Knife Chair
• The Shotgun Collar
• The Pendulum Trap

Girls getting snapped in a bear trap, though? Hey, man, that’s too much.
