This is a brilliant commercial. Sure, it’s a little bit dated, but who cares? It totally makes me want to go to New Zealand. In fact, it appears to be demanding I travel to the land of the long white cloud. Because I own it, apparently. NEW ZEALAND IS MINE, I MUST GO THERE NOW!

Why are Tourism Australia paying Baz Luhrmann the big bucks to produce wanky commercials that do nothing to inspire folk to travel Down Under when they could pay a hundred bucks – tops – and bang out something similar to this gobsmackingly awesome New Zealand Is Yours ad?
