Maxwell – ‘Cold’

I’ve never really been particularly interested in Maxwell’s music, but after seeing him perform live tonight, I’m beginning to suspect he might be worth investigating.

Not only was his enthusiasm toward the other bands performing on Later Live With Jools Holland absolutely endearing – and don’t get me started on his smooth moves – but he sounded incredible live. His band are amazing!

Here’s a song from his new album. Doesn’t sound as good as it did live, but whaddyagonnado?

    hence the impossible rise of michael buble’-we
    have at least one star here who is cabable of
    more class in one millionth of a demi semi quaver than the whole of buble’s terrible ouvre’.
    go figure,
