Kanye West Is NOT Dead

This post is mainly for the benefit of Richard Wilkins, as I’d hate to see Tricky Dicky making another embarrassing gaffe on television because he decided to use Twitter’s Trending Topics as a source for stories.

Ladies and gentlemen, I can confirm that Kanye West is very much alive. You know how? I Googled “kanye west dead” and that’s what the Internets told me. Hmmm. Seems my research skills are rather Wilkins-esque.

Check it.

The truth though, is that there is no truth to the rumors of a Kanye West death, and if there were, you can bet that web sites like TMZ would be jumping all over this story.

Despite the thought of Kanye West being dead coming as a far-fetched news story, it is causing quite a stir over at Twitter, where many users have taken to saying their piece about it. Some users are questioning whether it is true, and some are actually cheering that thought that he could be dead after all the recent shenanigans he has pulled in sight of the press. This has led to the phrase “RIP Kanye West” becoming one of the most popular searches as well as one of the post popular posts on the Twitter Universe.

So Richard, please resist the urge to report Kanye West’s tragic demise on tomorrow’s edition of Today Show. Instead, perhaps you would like to inform the nation who you #gottacrushon?

PS: I am waiting for someone to bang out a picture of Kanye interrupting Kanye to say that Jeff Goldblum’s death was the greatest hoax death of all time.

    Kanye West is not dead and this is not the first time the death of a celebrity was faked on the internet. Many people are rushing to search for news about Kayne West’s death while the Twitter crowd are busy fueling the rumors. Twitter is known to have fueled sparks in rumers thanks to its large user base and popularity. But one question remains to be answered, who started this rumor that was taken to Twitter and spread rapidly?
