Delta Goodrem To Host Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards

Delta Goodrem has somehow managed to fit award hosting duties into her busy schedule of downing soy milk, using hair products, playing video games, and gently mocking would be Australian Idols. Kids of Australia, get excited!

Nickelodeon Australia has announced that award-winning singer songwriter Delta Goodrem will be the host of this year’s Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

General manager of Nickelodeon Australia, Katrina Southon, said:
“Delta Goodrem is an outstanding Aussie talent. She’s beautiful, ridiculously talented, has a great sense of humour and isn’t afraid of some messy fun. We know she’s going to do a great job as host, and help us deliver a standout event in this year of two-thousand and SLIME!”

Goodrem will headline a strong musical line-up at this year’s KCA’s, with some of the hottest young musical talent in the country recently announced to perform, including Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and Cassie Davis.

I wish I was invited to the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. It sounds like a blast! Guy Sebastian? Delta? Slime? That’s a recipe for a good time if ever I saw one.

Also, I quite like the expression ‘two-thousand and SLIME’. Please note that I have already declared next year ‘two-thousand and ZEN’ and update your calendars accordingly. If I find a better word that rhymes with ‘ten’, I will let you know.

    This years is in Melbourne? Nickelodeon’s are THE best “Awards” night. True. They always have a champagne sparkle and fizz although obviously its brought about by soda pop instead!

    Grab a sister, niece, nephew or brother – or if you’re lucky enough, one of your own, and charge in there. You can sit out of slime range and enjoy it all.

    And the line-up should make this one of the best Nicks too.

    OMG OMG OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG, I cant beleive that Delta Goodrem is going to be hosting the awars. She is da best singer in the whole world and a gr8 person in general. I love her to bits and know that she is going to be not only awsome, but da best host ever!
