Bea Arthur’s Final Interview

Even though the wonderful Bea Arthur passed away at age 86, I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that it feels as if she was taken from us too soon. Too goddamn soon. A reader got in contact and sent me a link to an excerpt from her final interview, and I thought it was worth checking out.

It’s only a short preview, but it certainly shows just how smart and switched on Bea Arthur still happened to be.

Stephen, the reader who sent me the link to the clip, said “We need to find out how to contact Merv Griffin Productions and see if entire interview will be aired. I’d hate for an full interview with Bea or these other legends to go unseen.”

I suppose you could try the official Merv Griffin Productions website for contact details, if you were so inclined? Probably worth visiting the site anyway just to listen to the soothing music that automatically starts when you land on the home page. Turn the volume up and pretend you’re at a swanky “do” in the olden days! Cheap fun for the whole family!
