A Must For Any Fleetwood Mac Attack: ‘Gypsy 83′

Here’s a little something for our Fearless Leader this morning: a couple of years ago, a friend and I got very excited about the film Gypsy 83, which we’d stumbled upon while scouring the internet for Stevie Nicks-related fantasy art. I duly ordered the DVD from Amazon and we sat down to soak it in while burning purple candles and wearing spiderweb lace. In short, it was amazing.

If this plot summary doesn’t excite your inner goth/misfit, I don’t know what will:

Two young misfits head for New York City to celebrate their idol and muse, Stevie Nicks, at The Night of 1,000 Stevies. Along the road, in order for them to escape their painful pasts, they must discover their strengths and learn self-acceptance.

And since I’ve been meaning to introduce dear Jess – who, as you’ll notice, is (re)discovering the wondrousness of both Fleetwood Mac and Ms. Nicks lately – to this fine independent film (starring Sara Rue, who you might remember from Can’t Hardly Wait as the hippie student who “baaaa”s at Jennifer Love Hewitt), I thought why not introduce it to all of youses, by way of the trailer:

You can get a copy of the flick here, or, failing that, everyone can wear their spiderweb lace and come over to mine for a viewing.
