Would You Like To Appear In A Music Video?
If you’re in Melbourne on Monday and you feel like starring in a music video (and why wouldn’t you? It’s how Courteney Cox shot to fame, goddamn it!), then start preparing your best frock/suit – Angie Hart is looking for extras to appear in the video for her new single “I’m Afraid Of Fridays”.
Here’s everything you need to know straight from her MySpazz blog.
Hi friends of Angie – this is a call to arms for all friends to come support Angie in the making of her next music video!
I’m afraid it’s short notice and I’m afraid it’s on a Monday morning – THIS Monday in fact – 6th September at 10am. BUNK OFF WORK!
We’re looking for extras for Angie’s clip – “I’m Afraid of Fridays” (you can hear on her myspace right now) www.myspace.com/angiehart
We are looking for dapper gents and lovely ladies of all ages to fit this bill
- You have to have a couple of hours up your sleeve
- If you are a lady, come dressed in a lovely dress, preferably 50’s era
- If you are a gent, come in suit, tie and hat, again preferably modelled 50’s style
- You must come with an old style bicycle! nothing new, nothing fancyThe video will be shot around Collingwood, Monday morning 10am. More details as they come to hand!
Please mail voila.sharon@gmail.com ASAP if it’s of interest! The more the merrier, feel free to spread the word! Tell your friends!
Bicycles?! Vintage clothing?! COLLINGWOOD?! Sounds like a recipe for fun. Get down there, readers! Everyone should star in a music video at least once in their life, don’t you think?
So spend the weekend finding an old style bicycle and rummaging through vintage clothing stores for the perfect outfit – you won’t regret it.
PS: If you’re in Sydney and you’re thinking “This is bullshit, McGuire – why do all the fun things happen in Melbourne?” then let me just say two things.
Firstly, I live in Melbourne and I am like, a FUN MAGNET, so I’m sorry about that but please don’t resent me for bringing The Party wherever I go.
Secondly, Angie Hart is playing TONIGHT in Sydney so you should go and check out her single launch and while she’s on stage, you can stand in the crowd and pose and pretend you’re Courteney Cox in the Dancing In The Dark clip. Details on Angie’s MySpazz!
