I hate to break this to you Andrew, but you know that sicko who kidnapped and raped Jaycee Dugard? Well, he was convicted of rape before that, in 1977, and was sentenced to life in prison.
He only served about 10 years before they released him from jail.

@HPGrl04: I can tell you after searching my address, there are plenty of Californian sexual offenders in my neighborhood, most of whom are registered for offenses with children. Molesters? In my neighborhood? It's more likely than you think. Keep an eye on your kids, folks.
