Natalie Imbruglia Don’t Need No Man!

Pop star Natalie Imbruglia has revealed that she’s currently sans manfriend as she’s still getting over her split from Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns. Plus, of course, she’s married to her work. That old chesnut!

Natalie Imbruglia is “scared” of being single. The Torn singer admits she is still adjusting to life alone after splitting from husband Daniel Johns in January 2008 and isn’t sure if she is ready to start dating again.

She said: “I’m a bit scared of being single and scared of getting into another relationship, but I’m married to my work right now.”

Her work obviously isn’t the jealous type, and it’s totally fine with her writing songs with her ex.

Despite her marriage ending, Imbruglia and Johns remain close and she was delighted to enlist the Silverchair rocker’s help on her forthcoming album Come To Life.

She added to Look magazine: “He did some beautiful work on the record. He’s a very clever boy.”

I do hope Nat never referred to Daniel as a “clever boy” during their marriage, it sounds a little too Vili Fualaau/Mary Kay Letourneau for my liking. I am actually a bit surprised that there is absolutely no mention of Chris Martin in this article. Still, there’s always next time.
