Idol Contestant Believes The Show Is ‘Fake’ And ‘Boring’
Recently ousted Australian Idol contestant Sabrina Batshon has told reporters she believes the program is fake and boring, pointing out that most of the feedback from the judges is often “just for show and entertainment”. Later, Sabrina informed the press that the sky is blue and the ocean is blue.
Says the Daily Telegraph:
Australian Idol evictee Sabrina Batshon has slammed the reality TV show for being fake and boring, claiming it needs new judges to survive.
In an exclusive blog with The Daily Telegraph, she said the show was “drowning” with its judges who are boring the viewers that have turned away. She said she missed Kyle Sandilands, saying the show needs someone like him who does not play games, was witty and funny but did not overstep the boundaries.
Batshon also said the show was not a “one-way ticket to a music career”.
If Natalie Gauci were here, I believe she’d be crying out “TESTIFY!” right about now.
Sabrina continues:
“None of it is real. Most of what the judges tell you is not real or factual, often it is just for show and entertainment.”
“People are getting really bored and the judges are under alot of pressure to give a good show and when you are just saying things to entertain people, people get bored. Dicko’s gotten away with murder, and Marcia’s very kind.
“JDee needs alot of time to warm up. But with JDee you need 2 stronger judges, and Marcia and Dicko are not as strong. I think Dicko has said a lot of things, he makes derogatory comments and i don’t know if the fans agree with that, his jokes are not funny. We;ve watched that year after year and it gets boring.”
“JDee has had an awkward start, Marcia isn’t very social, Dicko was very playful and JDee was always very nervous

I’d take Sabrina more seriously except I happened to catch her performance of a Linkin Park song during Rock Week.
Suzi Quatro’s Mullet may have liked it, but this two thumbed moi certainly didn’t.

Boring as Batshon.
Sabrina was woeful, but more importantly, people who write ‘alot’ should not be allowed to ‘blog’ for newspapers, no matter how tabloid they may be.
I agree with Sabrina , the show is “fake” the viewers votes only count for revenue
I believe Idol is about a Television show , the producer decides who is eliminated and when based on his opinion of who has not improved from the previous week , from a television “journey” point of view , nothing to do with votes just television Journey

Sabrina is obviously a sore loser. Yes, she did have a couple of points. But they she spoke about it comes across that she’s severly pissed she was voted off.
Sabrina, you have a lovely voice (sometimes), but you’re just too full of yourself. And you killed that Linkin Park song, shame on you!
Maybe she should go back when to when she had the “depression”, and try to learn something about modesty and being humble.
