Guess Which Former Australian Idol Judge Wants To Be A Barrister?

What do you do when you’re no longer involved in a relatively successful television franchise anymore but you still need to earn a buck or two? Why, you go back to school! You learn! You train! You become a kickarse barrister who will undoubtedly bewilder hostile witnesses with talk of “Dooni-Gooni-Gay” and questions like “What are ya doin, ya Gooni-Goo-Goose?”

Yes, Mark Holden is apparently aiming to become a barrister.

From an anonymous tipster:

I just got this text from a barrister friend of mine: “Mark Holden is doing the bar reader’s course to become a barrister! Is it wrong for me to sit in on one of his moot trials and scream ‘touchdown’ when he wins an argument?”

No, it’s not wrong. It would be awesome.

PS: “Dooni-Gooni-Gay” and “What are ya doin, ya Gooni-Goo-Goose” are actual Mark Holden quotes. God help his clients.

Well thank God the answer to that question wasn’t Kyle Sandilands. What would he do, specialise in prosecuting rape cases?

This is old news about Holden, it was reported in the paper months ago.

Marks first career was in law, back in the 70’s, before his singing career took off. Good on him for going back to it. Bring some flair to the courtroom. I’d have him on my team anyday, should I ever need it. He’s smarter than the media give him credit.
