SPOTTED: Natalie Bassingthwaighte rushing out of a popular sex shop yesterday. In an interesting way to spend her 34th birthday, the 1000 Stars singer was seen trawling the racks at risque House of Fetish in Oxford St. What could she have been doing?
The multi-talented performer, now based in LA, coincidentally had a reunion with her Rogue Traders boyfriend Cameron McGlinchey last night in Melbourne but maintained her shopping trip was for business, not pleasure.
“Everyone knows how Fetish makes the best costumes,” a sheepish Bassingthwaighte said. “I was putting in an order for a costume for my next single.”
If we don’t see The Bass donning this fetching little chainmail number in her next clip, we’ll know she’s full of it and she’s probably attending Eyes Wide Shut-esque parties with her boyfriend Cameron on the down low.

That chain mail number is unusual attire. Those boots elicit memories of the ‘Pinball Wizard’ from the movie ‘Tommy’. I was always ridiculed for liking Elton John and his flamboyant dress sense, but I suppose for every artist, there are haters out there who’d just like to spoil the pleasure of others.
