Who Wants To Timeshare An Island Made Famous By Reality TV?

Look, truth is sometimes I need to get away from the big smoke – but can I afford a tropical island of my own? Nay, sir/madam, I cannot. But I figure if everyone who reads Defamer Australia throws in a little of their precious savings, we can share in the island made famous on the last season of The Biggest Loser! WHO IS IN?

Obviously we’ll all get fit and sexy while we’re there, if that helps inspire you.

A luxury Great Barrier Reef resort which featured on the hit TV series The Biggest Loser is for sale. Fitzroy Island Hunt Resort, 30km off the north Queensland city of Cairns, has been in receivership since April.

The resort earlier this year hosted contestants from TV reality show The Biggest Loser.

In April it entered receivership with estimated debts of at least $65 million and most of its million-dollar apartments unsold and unfinished.

Debts of $65 million? So they’re desperate for cash, then. The dream of a Defamer Australia cult “freedom camp” on Fitzroy Island lives on!
