Ummm… Ruby Rose’s Real Name Is What?
I’ve kinda been skimming over the recent articles about Ruby Rose running off with model Lyndsey Anne because to tell you the truth, the pair are so chatty on Twitter there’s absolutely no need to rely on gossip magazines for the dirt. But then I read the following “piece” in the Daily Telegraph, and even I had to take a moment and say “Wait… WHAT?“
The article starts in a standard Confidential kinda way, I suppose – overly excited about hot lesbians.
Kicking up her heels after being dumped for celesbian Ruby Rose, former Australia’s Next Top Model contestant Lola Van Vorst was celebrating being single but still nursing a broken heart while clubbing in Kings Cross on Saturday, following her fall-out with red-head Lyndsey Anne.
I can understand how, if you were one of the very few people on the planet not overly au fait with the love lives of Sydney’s It girls, pretty much all of those names would have washed over you completely. Basically all you need to know is that these days is that every model is a lesbian, and every model lesbian seems to want to pash Ruby Rose.
Anyway! None of that happens to interest me. It’s the following paragraph that made me raise my eyebrows. To give you some context, Ruby Rose and Lyndsey Anne – being lesbian stereotypes and obviously totally unable to resist the natural urge to U-Haul, according to the tabloids – are apparently getting married.
If the nuptials go ahead it’s a good thing Rose, who was born Lindsay Ciccone, changed her name, otherwise it would be “Lindsay, do you take Lyndsey … ”
Umm… WHAT?
I know Ruby Rose is a Madonna fan, but is her birth name really Lindsay Ciccone? REALLY? I thought it was Ruby Rose Langenheim! Is she Madonna’s secret daughter? Or sister? Or WHAT? NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE.
