Sunrise Stunt Leads To Injured Box

I will never tire of writing headlines about Fifi Box, it’s true. Guess what she’s been up to lately? Breaking her wrist in the name of breakfast television entertainment, that’s what.

Reports the Herald Sun:

Australia’s most accident-prone TV presenter, Fifi Box has broken her wrist in a motorcycle accident. Box has been covering the Australasian Safari off-road rally in Western Australia this week for Sunrise. The accident occurred on Wednesday when she showed the rev heads her motorbike skills.

“I was trying to impress a guy, basically that is how I did it,” a sick and sore Box said .

Poor Fifi. A sick and sore Box is no one’s idea of a good time.

“One of the guys had this mini peewee bike, which is the one that the kids ride, and I thought ‘I will get on this, it will be fine’. I put my hands on the handle bars and was about to climb on it and it took off. I was dragged about 100m and then my hand fell into the back wheel. I could have lost my hand. It is unbelievable that I have come out of it with just a broken wrist.”

Box said she didn’t realise at first that she’d broken her left wrist.

“My default position is to laugh,” she said. “Then I have fainted and was sick – all the things you do when you break bones.

Sounds like she’s a Box who knows her bones!
