Pink Loves Nothing More Than Grabbing A Vegan Parma At The East

Last night I was enjoying a post-trivia knock off with the staff at The East Brunswick Club and one of the managers piped up – very nonchalantly – that Pink had popped in recently. I casually raised one eyebrow in an adorably quizzical manner and said “Really?”, then took another sip from my martini. Just kidding! I screamed “BULLSHIT! WHAT? WHAT? WHEN? WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME EARLIER?” and then dribbled some beer down my chin in excitement.

Turns out Pink had heard about The East’s delightful vegan menu (look, it’s true, I’m not just spruiking the place even though it’s my second home) and decided to pop in and check it out for herself. According to my peeps:

- She ordered a vegan parma!
- She was incredibly lovely, and tipped every time she bought something!
- She drank VB! COULDN’T YOU JUST EAT HER UP WITH A SPOON?
- She briefly danced to the mad tunes of DJ Crumbs (aka Max from Brain Children).
- She is very short!
- But “much hotter” in real life (which I’m assuming means she is mind meltingly spunky in the flesh)!
- When she wasn’t dancing or delighting the staff with her tipping skills, she sat quietly by herself at a table and read a book. She’s just like me!

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “The East have quite clearly made this entire thing up in order to plug their vegan wares, and poor innocent Jess has fallen for their cunning plan!”

WELL YOU COULDN’T BE MORE WRONG AND I’LL THANK YOU NOT TO MAKE NEGATIVE ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THE CHARACTER OF MY BELOVED EAST BRUNSWICK CLUB.

Here’s what Pink wrote on Twitter about the experience.

East Brunswick Club: best restaurant/bar/vegan food in the whole entire Melbourne. Hands down no contest. That food was so good I'm angry. Pink

So there you go.
