Melissa George Is Having Some Memory Issues

How Melissa George manages to remember her lines while appearing in Hollywood productions is beyond me, because she’s clearly slipping up in the brain department. She claims she recently forgot her Home & Away character’s name! I find that hard to believe. If I can remember it – and the band playing when she met Shane, and the way she walked down the aisle, and what she named the baby, and EVERYTHING ELSE – then I can’t see why she’s unable to recall the reason she’s famous in the first place.

Says the Telegraph:

The Aussie actress, who hit the red carpet for her new thriller Triangle in LA at the weekend, has been very vocal over the years about how much she doesn’t miss Summer Bay.

“Someone had to remind me what she [the character] was called the other day,” she said. “I couldn’t remember her name. It was 17 years ago.” The 33-year-old did however go on to say her experience on the soap was “the best time of my life”. And for the record, she played Angel Parrish.

And before her character got married, she played Angel Brooks.
