Magda Szubanski Rumoured To Be The New Host Of The Biggest Loser
One of Australia’s most beloved comedy figures has suddenly become Channel Ten’s new It Girl now that she’s lost over 40kg. That’s right, Magda Szubanski will not only be appearing on a brand new show soon to appear on Ten, but she’s also hotly tipped to host the next season of The Biggest Loser.

The super slimmer Magda Szubanski looks set to achieve another big boost in what has already been a hugely successful year, with rumours she could be the new host of Biggest Loser. Szubanski is among names whispered to be favoured for the job, as the race for the plum gig heats up.
The former Kath & Kim star appears perfect for the role, after making headlines for losing a whopping 45kg. She’s also the new darling of Channel 10, after signing on to host new pop culture show The Spearman Experiment.
Channel Ten will officially announce the new host of The Biggest Loser in the next few weeks, but I’ve gotta say – the shortlist is kinda troubling.
Other names rumoured to be in the mix include former contestant Alison Braun, former Olympic swimmer Hayley Lewis and, surprisingly, even out-of-favour radio host Jackie O.
Given that everything on the small screen that Jackie O has touched has turned to television shit, Channel Ten cannot possibly be considering her… right? I swear to god, I love The Biggest Loser but I will switch off and YouTube videos of Jillian Michaels making people cry before I watch Jackie O on the telly. Give it to Magda! Or Alison! Or Hayley! Or this lump of wood I found on the way home last night!

Jackie O’s aura of shit is worthy of a reality TV show in itself: force the lass to host a different TV pilot every week, and see if a test audience manages to rate her above a 75% approval rating. If they don’t, she’s …. oh, I don’t know, forced to undertake some sort of humiliating lie detector test.
I don’t like the new Magda, she looks like an alien and not a real person which is how she used to look. Will she wear a fat suit to play Sharon?
