Jackie O Has Taken A Well Deserved Break
Ever since Austereo became a dirty word, it seems everyone in the Australian media is all up in Kyle Sandilands’ proverbial grill – but what is sidekick Jackie O doing in the wake of the scandal that threatens to ruin her radio career? Why, she’s taking a well earned holiday, thank you for asking.
Disgraced radio queen Jackie O appears to have gone into hiding in the wake of her radio show’s suspension.
As her co-host Kyle Sandilands faces an uncertain future after losing his spot as an Australian Idol judge, Jackie Henderson and her husband, Lee Henderson, have not been seen at their $2.75 million Paddington terrace for up to a week. They may have retreated to their 42-hectare property on the NSW South Coast.
Despite what SMH would have you believe, Jackie O is not in hiding, oh no.
Henderson’s representative at Chadwick Management, Martin Walsh, said his client was “having a break” but would not say where.
“Jackie’s a wonderful person so she’s having a break and we’re waiting for the [Austereo] report to come out and we’ll go from there,” Mr Walsh said.
As my very clever friend Scott quipped, “Timely reminder, viewers: only wonderful people deserve holidays.”

Oh, I do hope Mr and Mrs Henderson are okay, I hope the last couple of weeks aren’t too telling on them. After all that vacuous blonde dope wasn’t to know that hooking a child to a polygraph, quizzing her on her sex life was going to force her into and early but much needed break. “Wonderful person” my arse! Stay at the ranch and do society a favour.
