Oh lord. Thanks to David who gave me the heads up on this. According to punters on Short Stack’s official site, iTunes appears to be playing funny buggers with the new Short Stack album – it’s renamed all the songs.
Let’s allow a Short Stack fan to explain in their own (surprisingly not misspelled) words.
Got the Cd… put it in my computer… Itunes listed the song titles as: Shimmy a Gay Guy, Penis (Princess), Before Balls Fall. The others were right… That meant to happen? :)

It isn’t iTunes doing this per se. When you load a CD into iTunes, it references an online database (GraceNotes, I believe) to retrieve track names et cetera. These databases are user-generated and are thus frequently (deliberately or otherwise) incorrect.

In other short stack news: did anyone else (aside from the obsessive fans of course) take the time to read the article about them in the age the other day? My favourite part was the discussion of eyeliner (’we call it guyliner to make it sound more masculine’) and the wearing of ‘meggings’ (’men’s leggings’)! Hilarious…
