Peter Andre Has A New Record Deal

Obviously his break up with Katie Price means that the past couple of months has been rather difficult for Peter Andre, but here’s some news that ought to cheer him up – he’s landed a new record deal, huzzah! Well, huzzah for him, not for the listening public.

According to TheMusic.com.au:

As the British tabloids report every weepie moment about Peter Andre and his split from his wife, it seems he’s signed a £1 million (Australian $2 million) record deal with UK based Conehead Management. Andre had a couple of #1 hits in the UK in the ’90s including “Mysterious Girl”. Andre’s first single release through the label “Behind Closed Doors” is downloadable from August 10. The album was recorded in LA earlier in the year. Conehead owner Graham Stokes says, “This record will surprise a lot of people, he’s worked with some of the best writers and producers in the US and come back with what could turn out to be one of the biggest albums of the year!”

But surely being in the papers constantly since news of the Price-Andre split broke won’t work in his publicity favour, Graham Stokes? Oh hang on, it totally will. Katie and Peter will be remarried by Christmas and make a mint from selling the photos to a gossip rag, mark my words.
