New York Post Outraged By These Hot Nude Pixxx

The New York Post is shocked and outraged—not to mention disgusted—that some sicko perv secretly took a nude video of hot, sexy blond ESPN anchor Erin Andrews and posted it online. The Post is flabbergasted. And dismayed.

Words are simply not sufficient to express the New York Post’s fury at this perverted, unnatural desecration. No, it will take a slide show of images from the nude video for the Post to properly communicate how livid it is at this breakdown of all that is good and moral. The powerful caption, accompanied by three Erin Andrews nooodddzzzzz:

VIOLATION: ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews (above) was the innocent victim of a perv-cam-wielding sicko who secretly took these images of her in her hotel room and posted them online.

The New York Post is both nauseated and indignant.

    @MissPeacock: Deadspin never posted the video. They linked to the site after the video had been taken down, then realizing people were using Google cache, they later removed the link and redacted the site name.

    So, what kind of lens converter did this supposed peeping tom use? Most of those peep holes are wide angle looking from the inside, so looking in from the outside would give any standard camera lens an undecipherable image. Any photogs want to comment on this aspect the media hasn't thought about?

  • TillieHarper: We the Blacks...Ni

    And with a slip of the tongue she's a "video vixen."

    That is not an accident. Classy.

  • MissPeacock

    @hhaller: To that, I say whatever. When they originally posted the location of the video, they said they weren't even sure it was EA. But they STILL POSTED A VIDEO OF A NAKED WOMAN BEING SPIED ON WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE. Who cares if it was EA or not? They were willing to violate someone's privacy in a really, really hideous way.

    @Better to Eat You With: It's "bad publicity" in that she's a serious reporter who is working in an entirely male industry who has already been treated like a piece of meat, repeatedly, on the sidelines and there's a pretty good chance that her life is going to become a living hell for a while, just by continuing to do her job on the sidelines and in the locker rooms.

    I am so bringing opaque tape with me when I travel from now on.

    @Island of Misfit Toys: And they did.

    Look, Andy Soltis desperately wishes she wasn't sexy - his job is that much harder, what with a curvaceous, firm-breasted victim in this whole sordid affair. God, this sort of thing makes Andy Soltis sick. And what are we doing to protect the children from images like fig. 1, or crimes so furtive and lewd that they can only be truthfully described in 60-pt. type, Andy Soltis wants to know? How can we beat off the peeping hordes of perverted creeps just salivating to catch a glimpse of pictures like fig. 2, asks Andy Soltis? Can American culture stand the sight of the video like the one linked below? Jesus, and Andy Soltis, think not.

  • Perhaps Not

    @Brad Brown: The Lord is fine with it as long as you're sorry later. If you're looking at porn online twice daily, it's just a series of momentary lapses - just don't bookmark it.

  • Better to Eat You With

    @hhaller: If you've ever been near a sideline at such an event, you know that she's already seriously heckled, and that they give her the biggest, beefiest camera guy they've got--I've always thought it was built-in security.

  • Better to Eat You With

    @Island of Misfit Toys: How is this in any way bad publicity for her? She looks fantastic AND she's a victim. I'll expect to see her doing a lot more feature work on ESPN in addition to the stupid sideline reporting.

  • hhaller

    @Mymoustache:
    Well if she chooses to continue as a sideline reporter, she'll be working in packed stadiums full of drunk coeds, most of whom have probably already seen those videos by now. If they were lewd toward her before, it's about to get much worse.

    Now if she moved on from ESPN, I can't decide if something like this would help or hurt her land another job. It's possible some doors would open to her out of sympathy alone (as well they should).

    Regardless, I don't think she'll have peace of mind about anything for a while.

    Good work, New York Post! You get a star. Remember children, never commit the sin of Greed and keep peeping pics all to yourself. Be your brother's keeper and help him peep too. Consent, schmunsent. You get too hung up on all that sensitive shit and you risk falling into Satan's trap and becoming a homosexual.
    Archangel Michael is writing Erin a citation for committing the sins of Lust, Pride and Sloth. I will never understand why females just keep asking for it. You'd think they'd learn from their sins by now.

  • Mymoustache

    The cynical side of me is wondering whether this is all a bit contrived. What does Erin Andrews have to lose in all this?

    @Island of Misfit Toys: True- but they only posted pics of her fully clothed (in a turtle neck!). Nothing nearly as racy as this post (although I get why Gawker had to post the pics in order to make their point about the Post).

  • hhaller

    @Island of Misfit Toys:
    They are a bit remorseful as well, I think. I think many sports bloggers are. There's no telling what Andrews will do after this--they may have driven off their numero uno attraction.

    @Island of Misfit Toys:
    Makes you wonder why they didn't handle it quietly and behind the scenes, no? Those clips were out there for months. I think you're right about the risk assessment part though--note that it all broke on a Friday afternoon, like any good scandal.

  • Island of Misfit Toys

    @Schadenfriend: But Deadspin also shares a bit of the responsiblity for this fiasco. They posted a link to the website that had the video. Did you check that post's page views? Over 300,000. I think that may be the most popular post in Deadspin's history.

  • Paul.B.Dodd

    I looked at the videos. The quality is really grainy, really bad. If her lawyer had not publicly acknowledge that it was her in the video, short of having the perv come out and admit that he did it, it would have been very difficult for a third party to confirm that it was her. This is why I don't understand why ESPN and their bevy of lawyers didn't just let this die down. The videos were taken down. I'm sure some of them are floating around on Torrent or eMule already but vague, underground notoriety is still better than full-blown voyeur scandal.

    From the Bill O'Reilly school of outrage journalism. "I am shocked and appalled by the actions of these porn stars, who will appear in the studio to describe their horrific actions in disgusting detail, while I express my shock and appall. I am a culture warrior!"

    @blix: Aw, thanks blix.

  • DavidWatts

    Thank god they put that black bar over a third of her ass, because, otherwise, it would have been extremely indecent.

  • johnny_carsick

    @Island of Misfit Toys: for only 3 outraged payments of $19.99, staggered at appropriately appalling two-week intervals.

  • Phyllis Nefler

    I just like that she stands there fully nakey to use a curling iron. Doesn't that seem dangerous to anyone else? I guess if I had that body, I'd want to watch it in the mirror all morning too.

  • Schadenfriend

    @BookishLookish: Deadspin has actually handled it with a fair amount of discretion and some outrage at the violation of her privacy. Other sites, however, are "OMG! Erin Andrews nude! Sweet!"

    If there was a crashing sound, it was on Friday, when the videos were acknowledged by ESPN and were still readily available...not that I, uh, watched it.

    Schadenfriend

  • dripdrop

    @Gawkchalk:

    Yeah, you tell her! How dare she expect some semblance of privacy in a hotel room. THAT'LL SHOW HER.

    You're a jerk.

    I'm curious to see if Deadspin links to this story.

    Island of Misfit Toys

  • blix

    @fileunder: Well done.

  • sirjohnoldcastle

    The only comfort in all this is the knowledge that the distribution of the post is so much smaller than the subscription to a skeevy sex site on the net.

  • mexiback

    @Gawkchalk: So now it's her fault?

  • fileunder

    That headline is a snooze.

  • TheJerseyDevil

    Perhaps someone with a little more experience in this area of the law can enlighten me, but considering Erin and ESPN have lawyered up, isn't the Post opening itself up to a crapload of liability by publishing these screen shots?

    TheJerseyDevil

  • Island of Misfit Toys

    @gticlutchburn: I wondered about that too. It was just a backwater rumor until the official lawsuit/confirmation. Now she gets this *points at NY Post pic*. They must have done a risk assessment and determined that public disclosure of the video was the best way.

    Island of Misfit Toys

  • Gawkchalk

    Note to Erin: Don't stay at cheap motels in college towns.

  • BookishLookish

    That crashing sound followed by loud cheering you heard last night all across America was the Deadspin boys breaking teh Internetz and applauding/howling with delight.

  • gticlutchburn

    Who are the bunch of idiots on her legal team? Before they started issuing legal threats to websites hosting the video, everyone assumed it was a fake. Now that it's confirmed to be her, this thing is going to be everywhere. Streisand? Anyone?

    gticlutchburn

  • Awesome X

    Rupert Murdoch personally watched the video 23 times to kindle the appropriate amount of anger and indignation, pausing constantly and mumbling "My god. Oh. My. God."

  • youmakemefeellikedanson

    So what's really funny is that on the NYPost site, the blocks load up after the uncensored picture. Nice peep show guys.

    youmakemefeellikedanson

  • chrisdag

    Deadspin is posting some conjecture that the video was taken not through a hotel door peephole but via a fiber optic or gooseneck type of camera snaked through a small hole made in a wall.

    If true, this story becomes 1000x creepier but possibly makes it easier to catch the person who did it.

  • Island of Misfit Toys

    If you aren't angry enough at that unscrupulous pervert, the Post also has a DVD they'll sell you, so you can investigate the story further.

    Island of Misfit Toys

  • I do love Sherry

    They really cropped those censor blocks as short as they could there, didn't they.

    To know that a hot blond celebrity is walking around naked like that (even in my own apartment, much less a hotel room I would be wearing at least a towel or underwear) does validate many of my school boy fantacies.

    I do love Sherry

  • Better to Eat You With

    @allyzay: But, like it or not (I don't), her appearance is the primary reason she has the gig. She can't possibly be unaware of this. Yes, the incident is deplorable, but the acknowledgment and confirmation of it are no accident.
