Interesting Pieces Of Trivia Acquired From Wikipedia V

Are you a Battlestar Galactica fan? If not, I’ll assume you haven’t bothered watching the show because you fear doing so will turn you into a total nerd. Well, as someone who just finished all four seasons of Battlestar Galactica after a month of intense viewing, let me assure you that while the program may turn you into a total nerd and lead to you use the term “frakking” in conversation, it is also FRAKKING AMAZING. So here’s a Battlestar Galactica fact I acquired thanks to Wikipedia.

Did you know…

Mary McDonnell (born April 28, 1952) is an American film, stage, and television actress. She received an Academy Award nomination for her role as Stands With A Fist in Dances with Wolves, and she is also well known for her performance as President Laura Roslin in Battlestar Galactica.

Hang on! President Laura Roslin was also Kevin Costner’s love interest in Dances With Wolves? Now that you point it out, it seems so obvious!

THANKS WIKIPEDIA! YOU OCCASONALLY LET ME DOWN, BUT NOT TODAY!

Also, I currently have an overwhelming urge to watch Dances With Wolves.

  • looking at that clip, she hasn’t aged a day. Maybe she is cylon after all.

  • I have ALSO just finished watching Battlestar after a month (or so) of intense viewing!

    We’re practically frakking married.
