Rove McManus And Tasma Walton Just Got Married!

Well, this is unexpected news! Seems television presenter and multiple Gold Logie winner Rove McManus secretly married actress Tasma Walton yesterday. Way to get hitched on the sly, you two!

Reports the Daily Telegraph:

Rove McManus and Tasma Walton have sealed their romantic union with marriage, becoming husband and wife during a private ceremony in Broome. Blissfully happy since the TV personalities began dating in 2007, the nuptials follow McManus’ heartache at losing his first wife Belinda Emmett to cancer in November 2006.

“Rove McManus and Tasma Walton are pleased to confirm that they were married on Tuesday June 16 in a private beach ceremony in Broome, Western Australia,” a statement from the couple read. “They celebrated the day with a small group of close family and friends. It was Tasma who proposed to Rove, having first asked his mother for her blessing. There are no honeymoon plans and both Rove and Tasma will be returning to the east coast for work commitments.”

While all the emails I’m receiving from assorted people about the nuptials seem to be hinting at the fact it’s “too soon” for Rove to get married again, I disagree. Life is short, love can be hard, and if you manage to find someone who understands you in this life, you should grab onto them with all your might.

Also, I would just like to point out that I AM COMPLETELY PSYCHIC. Well, sort of. I stopped following Rove on Twitter because he began appearing in my dreams. Check out this series of Twitter updates from yours truly!

I’ve got to stop following famous people I don’t know on Twitter. They’re starting to appear in my dreams.

PS: If Rove and Tasma got engaged last night, I am totally psychic. If they didn’t, this is EXACTLY why I must unfollow celebrities.

Rove and I have mutual friends, and one of them piped up at this point that he’d not heard anything about a wedding from the man himself.

@DrJavaBeans They were keeping it “under wraps” and I promised to not talk about it on Defamer, which seems uncharacteristically nice of me.

@DrJavaBeans Besides, who are you going to believe, me or Rove? I have nothing to gain from my hugely psychic Piscean dreams.

DEAR ROVE, WHEN DID TASMA PROPOSE TO YOU? WAS IT IN EARLY MAY BY ANY CHANCE?

Feel free to contact me via the tips at defamer.com.au address, or through Defamer Australia’s work experience kid Larry Emdur.

In the meantime, congratulations!

Rove & Tasma Married! What can I say except it’s great news and it’s not too soon. After all he’s
been through he deserves every bit of happiness, and I’m sure Belinda will be chuffed and smiling
down on her beloved husband and best friend and showering them with all her love and blessing. My husband and I wish them all the very best life has
      to offer and God’s blessing.

‘with all you’re might’However,I think he jumped the the gun far too soon.I’m no fan of any of the players here but Rove said Belinda was the “love of his life”,yet marries within this amount of time! went straight to U.S. then failed a bit ,’found the new love of his life’,(incredibly beautiful,as this wonderful girl is),and is now back in the headlines, with new show and new girl and new smile.aint love grand! bottom line…. Belinda WASN’T the love of his life. His career is. jeff
