Probably The Most Heartbreaking Susan Boyle Fact Ever.
I think there are quite a few people in the British media who earned themselves a special place in Hell for the way they treated Susan Boyle (the folks responsible for this piece of shit being top of the list), and reading the following bit in the Popbitch newsletter just made me feel for the woman a whole lot more.
Pudgy Posh writes: “Susan Boyle is well known among
NHS 24 staff (the Scottish equivalent of NHS Direct.)
She was a regular caller as her mental illness meant
she got lonely, sad and wanted to chat.”
I hope someone’s looking after her right now, and most of all I hope that the British press back the fuck off for a while.

That piece of Popbitch info is truly sad.
Oh, and The Sun can eat a dick.
Dear Jess,
Your short article is probably the best analysis I have read so far on the Susan Boyle phenomenon. There was also a couple of good analytical articles on Susan posted yesterday from Huffington Post(www.huffingtonpost.com/joan-e-dowlin/the-appeal-of-susan-boyle_b_210904.html)and National Catholic Reporter (www.ncronline.org/blogs/ncr-today/what-should-susan-boyle-sing-next).
Yes, this is sad if true. But even sadder is the fact that someone violated Susan Boyle’s right to privacy by revealing that information to the public. This is an outrageous breach of her rights and constitutes a further abuse of her. In the US, at least, people who seek medical care of any kind are legally entitled to have any information regarding their care kept absolutely confidential. Miss Boyle deserves no less from the people who treated her.
