Michael Jackson’s Not The Father Of His Children, Says Ex-Wife

Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe, who gave birth to his two oldest children, Prince and Paris, says that she was impregnated through artificial insemination using sperm from an anonymous donor. Thus, she compared herself to a thoroughbred horse.

Rowe, who just a few days ago was hinting that she might fight for custody of the children she bore for Jackson, spilled the beans to trashy British tabloid News of the World.

“I was just the vessel. It wasn’t Michael’s sperm,” Rowe told News of the World.

“I got paid for it, and I’ve moved on. I know I will never see my children again.”

Rowe revealed she and the Thriller singer never had sex and did not share a bed during their three year marriage, describing the union only as a friendship.

“I offered him my womb…it was a gift. It was something I did to keep him happy.”

No longer bound by a legal agreement following Jackson’s death, Rowe has revealed Jackson had nothing to do with her babies’ births.

“I went to the ‘office’, which is what we called the medical clinic. They impregnated me. It’s just like I impregnate my mares for breeding. It was very technical,” she said.

“Just like I stick the sperm up my horse, this is what they did to me. I was his thoroughbred.”

Rowe also said that Jackson’s third child, Prince Michael II, was also conceived through artificial insemination by an anonymous sperm donor with an unknown surrogate paid to carry the child.

Remember the other day when we mentioned that Jackson’s death eliminating the threat of libel lawsuits would get all sorts of people selling stories to the tabloids? He’s not even in the ground yet and it’s already started.

@thatonegirlsays: Biodiversity is one thing, but those kids don't look remotely like him. It's true that outward physical characteristics don't always boil down to simple Mendelian genetics, but come. the. fuck. on.

  • WhoaMama

She is now claiming, through a spokesperson, that she never gave this so called interview to "News of the World." I believe her. She's always guarded her privacy, and why would she say such inflammatory, destructive things in the immediate wake of Jackson's death. It's was probably an old interview that was distorted to sell lots of papers and advertising dollars.

@Steverino Begins: Well I for one can't think of a single of his behaviors indicating he might have had any issues with his genetic heritage.

  • Solomon Grundy

@Spirit Fingers: Uh, Katherine Jackson doesn't really have the best track record with the whole parenting thing.

  • MissyMiss

@limber: YES. I'm glad someone else is thinking this.

I don't like the idea of them growing up with creepy Joe Jackson, though.

    @aneyelidsflutter:
True story, my dad is a black man and he married a blonde haired, blue eyed woman and SHOCKING, one of his kids with her has blonde hair, blue eyes and she's HALF NEGRO. Who'd a thunkit?

    Jesus.

  • unclevanya

@MisterHippity: As I said, I would tend to believe what she said, but my point was that the source was Weekly World News. I want to believe her, but first I have to believe that she actually talked to them, let alone that she actually said everything they reported.

Today's widely-reported but now-fake autopsy report is another example. Mainstream media is acting a little desperate for juicy tidbits, and it's harder to untwist the apocrypha from the facts once the fake stuff has been carried by the networks and the major papers.

Am I foolish for even thinking that there might one day be a "true" telling of the end of the MJ saga? How will we know it as it walks among us?

I'm betting whoever writes a Michael Jackson opera will get it down the best.

@lobstr: Good question. Why didn't he use his own sperm?

Assuming he wasn't suffering from any infertility problems, I can think of only one good reason: He wanted his own kids to be WHITE.

Which may just be the most scary-depressing thing among all the scary-depressing things about MJ, IMHO.

  • m4ximusprim3

@Helennellieforsythe: I actually feel a little sorry for her- she's obviously got some issues, and basically got the exact opposite of what she needed from the whole MJ fiasco.

    Such a strange, sad tale.

    m4ximusprim3

  • Steverino Begins

Could the castration rumors be true?! I don't understand why MJ would find another sperm donor rather than use his own. He was certainly megalomaniacal enough to want to reproduce himself. He even added "Michael" to all the kids' names, I believe.

  • limber

@Helennellieforsythe: DNA schmee-NA, they're his kids. Maybe not biologically, but he's been their dad from the start, end of story.

When a kid's had one father since the moment of their birth, I cease to find biological evidence compelling. This isn't David Goldman's case.

    limber

  • Crinkelbert_Fishtybuns

Actually, I think that wanting to have children was probably the nmost normal thing MJ did. It's not weird to get a surrogate mother. It's not weird to adopt. The weird part was the sham marriage. I think I remember seeing some interview at the time, with MJ insisting on the authenticity of his marriage. Big shocker.

On another note: if the children aren't biologically his, that supports the theory that he was castrated.

    Crinkelbert_Fishtybuns

@Scout 3.0: Hmm.. after watching that CNN clip of ol' Joe hawking Blu-Ray discs the day after his own son died kinda makes me wonder if MJ was onto something..

@MisterHippity: Yeah but why use an anonymous donor??? I mean.. we all know he wasn't gonna jump in the sack with that woman, fine, but why not use his own stuff for the deed? At least the 2 or 3 kids yielded would carry on a true MJ legacy by being part of MJ himself...

    ..hm on second thought..

  • Spirit Fingers

No, it's not surprising, but for the sake of the children, who are innocents, she should keep her mouth shut. I heard this morning that she's said she doesn't want anything to do with the children. I don't remember the exact quote, but it's something like, "I don't want those kids unless they can somehow be a meal ticket so now that their father is dead, (and his estate is in question) that won't happen, probably, so, uh, forget it."

Anyway, Katherine Jackson is seeking custody, and the children are currently with her now. Despite her being 79, I can't think of a better place for them at this moment.

Let me join the million-strong chorus of 'I told you so's. Those children bear no resemblance to him and I doubt they're of any African descent -- if so, more like 1/8 or 1/4, not 1/2.

He basically created children in a petri dish in order to molest them with legal impunity. Great parenting decision, Debbie Rowe!

  • applejuice

This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I have been saying (spouting?) for years that he wasn't the biological father of those kids. Why would anyone find this shocking?

  • fuzzymuffins

umm... aren't MJ's kids white as snowflakes? i still couldn't believe that despite daddy's insistence on looking as he does, that a true child of his wouldn't have SOME of his original genes.

  • MisterHippity

@unclevanya: Well, the woman IS the mother of MJ's two kids, and his ex-wife. So I think she has a certain legitimacy as a source of invormation on the subject of how her own kids were conceived, no?

Also, the two children are obviously caucasian, so it really isn't very hard to believe that MJ wasn't the biological father, don't you think?

  • MisterHippity

@blumpkin: The whole thing was obviously a business transaction - including the marriage.

Michael needed to buy some kinds. This was the only legal (sort of) way to accomplish that.

  • MisterHippity

@ChillbearLatrigue: You're pretty funny when you aren't talking about politics. :-)

  • Our Lady of the Massacre

Not surprising. Rowe hinted at as much for many years.

  • elinorwhyme

I mean yea, come on. That's been obvious since the first pix of the kids were published and it was clear they were white. I think Rowe was the assistant in one of his doctor's offices or something like that. So he must have met her a few times and thought she'd be good for rent-a-womb.
Whatever, I hope the kids end up okay.

    elinorwhyme

  • Scout 3.0

Another salient point from the News of the World Interview: Debbie Rowe did not carry Michael's third child because the birth of his second child was very difficult and left her unable to carry anymore children. Apparently, he left her as soon as he learned that.

Rumors have long circulated that Jackson did not use his own sperm for his children because he so despised his own father that he did not want his kids to look like them or be related to them. This is also supposedly one of the reasons why he kept mutilating his face.

  • BuyingPowerTools_GitEmSteveDave

@Awesome X: I too was going to point out that you require a live cover for the Jockey's Club to recognize it. I will say your description is a little lacking, as I've seen a mare who was tranqued, twitched, and had a leg up kick the stallion anyway. Also, the big boy only usually lasts about 5-7 seconds, if that.

Did this story pass some litmus test of believability with the mainstream media? Everyone picked it up as if it were true.

I'm not saying I don't believe the major bullet points, but it's only been a few days, folks. Is everyone going to race to every story/quote like it's a fire?

We may never know the "truth" about MJ's life. There are too many people with their own versions of it who have their own financial security at stake.

  • Awesome X

That's so wrong. I mean, technically, racing/breeding thoroughbreds can't be artificially inseminated -- the sports rules say the mares have to inseminated the old fashioned way. That is, breeders lead the mare to a breeding shack, a farmhand holds one of her legs up so she doesn't kick and another brings in a half-ton stallion to violently and thrashingly do the deed and never call her again.

Bitch is crazy. She's like, Joan Cusack in Addams Family Values crazy. Even in her conservative dress, with her mom bangs, standing next to one of the most eccentric people of the last 50 years, she looks crazy. You can't photoshop crazy out of the eyes, and it's there.

  • lobstr

It's so funny looking at that picture, she is so painfully suburban, it's hardly even believable that she was ever in the same room with the guy. She looks like some secretary that won a morning radio contest with the prize being to pose with MJ. I can't imagine what kind of conversations the two of them could possibly have had, talk about a culture clash of epic proportions!

But if it's true what she's saying and she's allowed to say whatever she wants, the clinic in question could confirm or deny all of this very easily. As for the 3rd kid, how the hell can you keep private from the world the identity of a woman who carried a baby for 9 months? She'll surface soon, don't you worry :D

  • lobstr

    @Hey_mikey: "First?" C'mon.. :p

News of the World? She couldn't even go for OK? It cannot be so hard to sell your Michael Jackson related story to the media that you need to go to there in order to do it.

    Sheesh.

  • Limitedappeal

I'm finding it a little hard to believe she actually said that about her womb being a gift. Especially since he never seemed to be particularly interested in wombs or any of the other paraphernalia associated with one.

  • Hey_mikey

Wow. First. Also - yikes! So he basically adopted children which he paid to have created? I'm not qualified to judge - but that is seriously off the wall.
