I loved it!! Hes good without the booze and/or lack of sleep but this was so much better than the logies! Today morning show will lose ratings if they dont put him back on and Ill be forced to watch Mel and Kochie *cringe*

( the show producers) kram as many commercials in as possible and then present some lame ass stories in between. also why do you morons get so fixed up in beating channel 7 in the ratings….which btw is impossible (they always kick your asses) with a wanker like karl his poofter looking brother who is always covering some trailer trash story in usa and a cast of tired old lookng (lisa/richard wilkins) unfunny up them self presenters. fair bloody dinkum there is more news content in my left foot than what you cocks serve up as current events!!! get this rubbish off our morning screens for hours on end (especially sundays) and for fuck sake why show the same shit for 4 hrs + yo should get it over with in 1 hr tops then maybe you would only present what is important news sport and weather not what you pricks show like american garbage re-told half baked stories that no one gives a rats ass about. this is australia you fkn morons!!!!

this was awesome. karl is one of the biggest wankers on breakfast tv (or at least, the apprentice to the king, David Koch), and seeing him struggle through the morning was almost as good as watching his colleagues try and deal with it. Doesn’t the male newsreader dude make some backhand comment about ‘happy marriages’ in melbourne?? brilliant.

All I hear is whingeing and Whining from People who are very happy to foul mouth off, and to bring undue notice to a man Who gets out of bed earlier than almost all of the whingers who watch morning television. I have seen the youtube account , as I didn’t rise until around 0800 that morning.
In My opinion , Karlhad pulled it all together, and was fine and professional.

Karl you were a legend mate! Top work! Kochie and the rest of the “gee bags” on Channel 7 must be spewing that Karl is real – yes he drinks, has fun and stuffs up like the rest of us. Those cardboard cut-outs on 7 represent everything that is “merd” on Aussie TV. Go Karl!
Good on him its 5.30am a night of free drink massive party he is solid for him to even face the camera and try and pull it off. i am not a massive fan of Carl but i now feel this makes him look more like a ‘real normal aussie guy’ that he 9 and him work so hard to make him like.

’smashed’, er smashing!’. I’m a late convert to channel 9 karl, lisa et al, but i’m impressed with the ‘genuine’ personality being displayed there. Yeah, it was unusual and unprofessional for him to be on air smashed, and I wonder what was going through the producers’ minds on this one, but they made the right call – let ‘im on; after all who the hell listens to any news show at 0530?! -risk was minimal, but it reaffirmed the sense of contemporary”ness” amongst them all that we can all relate to. Most of us probably would have stayed out late at the Logies; most of us don’t have to go on air the next day! It will only help ratings.
