The “Miranda Kerr Is Engaged!” Rumours Are Back

It seems like only six months ago we were prematurely offering our hearty congratulations to Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom on their engagement – because it was. And as we all know, the story ended up being complete rubbish made up by the tabloids who seem obsessed with the idea of those two getting hitched. Still, six months is a long time in the world of showbiz. The papers are overdue for another attempt to push the two down the aisle!

Since Miranda’s been spotted wearing a ring – once – whilst in Cannes, it’s probably time for us to start putting money away for a wedding gift.

On the eve of a return trip to Australia came rumours yesterday that Hollywood star Orlando Bloom has proposed marriage to Aussie model Miranda Kerr. The couple spent 24 hours in France this week hobnobbing on the fringes of the Cannes Film Festival. During the French sabbatical, a relaxed Kerr was photographed with a gold ring on her wedding finger.

Tie that in with the fact Miranda and Orlando are coming to Australia for a visit soon, and I think we all know what’s about to happen.

Friends back in Australia yesterday were unaware of an engagement announcement but suggested that, with Kerr flying home next week to honour modelling commitments with David Jones, she may be headed to Gunnedah to inform her parents of an engagement. The couple have been an item for 21 months.

Alternatively, she may be headed to Gunnedah to see her family for the first time in a couple of months. Who knows? Naturally, Defamer Australia waits with bated breath.
