A better fit would had been either Fringe or Lie to Me, but I suppose creating a solid block of watchable television on a Friday night was too much to ask. Fox is simply proving how un-committed they are to original thought and programing. I hope Joss and company take full advantage of this tiny offering and kill next season. Dollhouse DOES improve markedly from ep. 6 onwards - it's like suddenly Joss steps out from the shadow of the Fox and delivers. Still, pity we can't have a new lead. Eliza Dushku struggles mightily and should be put out of her misery. Yay! There's something indefinable about it that gets under my skin but I also love the characters, the whole idea of the Dollhouse is intriguing and Tahmoh Penikett is hot!
