Guy Pearce and Mirando Otto, Back On The Map
Madeline Stowe is back on the map, folks! So are Guy Pearce and Miranda Otto, noted comedians. While Nicole Kidman is retreating into the shadows.
Remember Madeline Stowe? She used to do a bunch of movies a long old time ago, but she’s mostly disappeared. Back in her heyday, she wrote a script called Unbound Captives, about Injuns and the Wild West, that was worth millions of dollars. But she never sold it, because she wanted to star. Well now the movie is finally happening and while she’ll direct, Rachel Weisz will star. Alongside sparklevamp Robert Pattinson and Hugh Jackman. Good for you, Stowey. [Variety]
Noted hilarious people Monica Bellucci, Guy Pearce, and Miranda Otto, are going to be in a romantic comedy directed by Bruce Beresford. It’s going to be a scream! [Variety]
Perhaps after seeing Whatever Works and thinking “Oh God…”, Nicole Kidman has dropped out of Woody Allen’s next movie. Probably a wise-ish move. [Variety]

I'm pretty sure that iCarly is a new app that automatically uploads your information to the registered sex offenders watchlist.
TableNine
Only if they don't do another Serenity, then that will truly be a waste of Fillion's talent.
Curses! Joss Whedon!
(You knew I was going to say it, Richard.)
Spirit Fingers
Richard. Where are your priorities man?? The masses await your RHx2 recap!!
Seriena
Stop baiting me, Richard. iCarly is no Wizards of Waverly Place.
I dropped my iCarly in the toilet. I took it to the Apple store and told them it just stopped working and they replaced it!
@barb95: Any idea if they'll be playing reruns over the summer or something? I think I want to actually watch this show, and I get the impression you might be a fan.
DahlELama
@cellardoor: I think (s)he meant the [episode of] iCarly [of which you speak.] Really, I'm willing to give anyone else who watches the show the benefit of the doubt, because it makes me feel better that I'm not alone.

I liked Castle better when it was called "Remington Steel" and starred Pierce Brosnan.
VanityFeral
@Wannabeer: Oh yeah, Madeline Stowe. Big crush of mine back in the day. By which I mean the early '90's. I'll bet she's still stunning.
I saw the iCarly ep, too. I watch it with my daughter, but I know enough about it to know that I will tune in for the very special episode where somebody knocks Sam the F out. I keep that to myself as far as the kid is concerned.
zibby
@Wannabeer: Please tell me that is a typo and that you didn't mean to write "the iCarly" ...
Is iCarly like IClaudius, but without all the stammering and pretending and death?
@Wannabeer: I saw Stowe at the Brentwood Country Mart a year or so ago... She was still absolutely gorgeous (and not overly Botoxed), though her hair was looking inadvertently Russell Brand-esque, all smooshed up in back like she hadn't brushed it since she woke up - it actually took some will power on my part not to reach out and tamp it down.
I hope Castle gets picked up. I need to find out what happens next season!!!!

Loved Madeline Stowe. Gorgeous and had a smart look about her most unusual for H-wood. Glad she's back on the scene.
And (blush) I saw the iCarly. And I even sort of giggled here and there. But that might be the alcohol laughing.

"Sparklevamp" is just another example of why I keep coming back to this site.
Hey the pre-laguna beach kids need an off broadway too.
Charlotte Rae's Web
iCarley had FRED on. That makes it great.
PikaDar-hey change my name
@VanityFeral: Yeah, my parents keep telling me that it's a mix of Remington Steele and Moonlighting, but as someone in his mid-20s, I can't really recall those things.
Cecil's Wielder
@DahlELama: I can't be certain about reruns but I think you can still watch the whole season on ABC's website.

@TableNine:
If it's not it should be.
checkyaself
@cellardoor: But thanks for clarifying!
@DahlELama: What I was referring to is some people's tendency to place an unnecessary article in front of social media apps, e.g,
The Twitter - "My son is on the The Twitter all day and I can't get him to look for work."
Nickelodeon has been on my "please die" list since they stopped showing Doug and Ren & Stimpy. But ever since they started putting on shows like iCarly, the grown up rugrats and The Naked Brothers Band They've made my list of "Equivalent of Super AIDs on society." A small group that is comprised of the previously stated shows, American Idol and Glenn Beck.
@DahlELama: ya, not sure about re-runs, but you probably find them all online. And I bet you the DVD's will come out before the second season starts. You can get them on netflix and catch up. :)
