So Mike Goldman Was Caught By The Fuzz…

You may have read over the weekend that Mike Goldman was flown over to Los Angeles on Virgin ’s inaugral flight from Brisbane, and when he arrived in Hell-Ay (my quiet nod to Ted Casablanca) he went partying with the best of them.

The best of them includes the likes of Lisa Curry Kenny, Michael Caton and Deni Hines. You couldn’t make it up. Obviously Virgin went all out when it came to hooking up with the creme de la creme of Australian celebrities.

But lo! Suddenly things took a turn for the blurst!

Goldman and pals including Lisa Curry Kenny, Michael Caton and Deni Hines hit the LA bar scene after arriving on Virgin’s inaugural flight from Brisbane. But Goldman was hauled out of night spot the House of Blues on Thursday by police.

Here’s the bit I need your help with – I have no idea what I’m meant to think when I read Mike Goldman’s explanation of events.

“They handcuffed me after catching me behind the bar pouring drinks,” Goldman said. “But it was just a girlfriend’s prank.”

What? I’ve narrowed down what I think Mike might be saying to the following things.

- Mike brought his girlfriend to LA, she dared him to go behind the bar and pour drinks as a prank, the police caught him, and then let him go when they realised he meant no real harm, it was just a prank his girlfriend had come up with. But Mike’s married, isn’t he?
- Mike is secretly dating Deni Hines, she dared him to go behind the bar and pour drinks, and then – AS A PRANK – told the police to handcuff him and scare the wits out of him!
- Mike is morphing into Marcia Hines and has taken to referring to himself as a “girlfriend” (complete with finger clicks and head wobble) and managed to convince police he was just mucking about and is deeply confused about his gender.

But really, I’ve been sitting on this for days and I’m still not clear about what the hell he’s on about.
