Kate Bush – ‘Rocketman’

I can’t remember if I’ve ever shown you this clip before, but one summer afternoon my friend Ang and I spent quite a few enjoyable hours drinking beer and dancing around like total spazzers to Kate Bush videos – and her wind machine/ukulele wiggle in the video for her cover of Elton John’s “Rocketman” was a particular favourite move of ours, if memory serves me correctly.

Honestly, if you’ve got nothing on this afternoon, spend it watching Kate Bush clips on YouTube. That woman has never met a wind machine she didn’t like! Heavens, I adore her so.

And when you’re done with videos of Kate, watch videos of people pretending to be Kate Bush in their bedrooms. Almost as entertaining as Kate herself, I swear to god. Human beings – especially those who upload footage of themselves onto YouTube – never cease to amaze and delight me.
