I saw Rita Wilson last Monday at Jinky's in Sherman Oaks.. I could not get over how great she looked.. fantastic body, like a 24 year old, and she looked like she was having fun just hainging in her sweats. Then a young guy friend said he saw her recently too and she was PHOWOARR.

i have to say, i liked this much more than most of her work. but most of her work works for the masses, so it looks like she wins on both accounts.

This was certainly real and off the cuff, by the way. I was there--not that that proves anything, but still. The bit about Rita Wilson's breasts was a reference to Charlize Theron's speech, which was endless and ditzy and weird. Roberts was pretty casual and natural. I mean, the crassness is a little forced, sure, but what do you expect, she's a freaking movie star.

The mostly eloquently funny speeches of the night, perhaps not surprisingly, went to John Patrick Shanley, Mike Nichols, and Nora Ephron. And I can't stand Nora Ephron's owrk, but she had this great bit about Tom Hanks growing up Pincus Greenblatt. HIs first language was Yiddish, his wife's real name is Rivka, etc. It was pretty damn funny.

@JacobMarx: dead on. That's always bothered me about her. She comes off as quite self-absorbed. However, more than 1 person I know has seen her on the subway in New York, which in my book makes her fractionally less annoying.

Never liked The Joker, m'self. Swearing=down-to-earth, so 10 minutes ago, as is pretending you were in the bathroom during the award ceremony, not keeping your composure when accepting an award, and other things celebrities do. Grace Kelly was the biggest whore in Hollywood, but she acted as though she shit ice cream.

I think people like The Mouth because she's half drag queen...but if that's the case, I'd rather see the drag queen.

Also, I think she's incredibly ugly. I would not do her at all.
