Today’s article in the Daily Telegraph which suggests MTV VJ Ruby Rose is secretly hooking up with a male model named Didier Cohen is rather amazing even by News Ltd standards.

Her entire image has been built around the fact that she is an out-and-proud lesbian, but Ruby Rose’s latest rumoured romance may very well change all that … because it doesn’t involve a woman this time, but a bloke.

Well, knock me down with a doodle if that doesn’t sound completely implausible. But if there’s one thing I know about the Daily Telegraph, it’s that they wouldn’t claim an “out-and-proud” lesbian had switched teams if they didn’t have proof. Personally, I cannot wait to see the dossier of evidence they must have compiled to prove beyond a doubt that the nation’s most beloved lady fancier has secretly begun hungering for menfolk.

Sources close to the MTV VJ and publicity magnet, who entered the spotlight just over a year ago and has since emerged as a prominent gay icon, said the gorgeous on-air presenter spent some time with hot US model Didier Cohen earlier this year – and that the two have continued to talk and see each other since.

A man? And a woman? Continuing to talk and see each other since initially meeting? I hope they used protection.

“They were definitely together when he was here,” a source said. “It’s just they weren’t seen in public and have managed to keep it very quiet.”

BUSTED. What does Ruby’s management have to say?

“She knows him … they are friends, but I wouldn’t say they are in contact or anything,” he said yesterday.

On the contrary, the pair have been in constant contact as of late on the social networking site Twitter. “Hey you! How r u! Can’t wait for LAAAA,” Cohen wrote to Rose on April 1.

For those of you that don’t know, LAAAA is a word often used by those in the modelling world and it means “the moment when I stick my penis inside you”.
