To criticize Garofalo for getting paid for doing a minor role on "24" - while Arnold Schwarzenegger gets to be governor of Lefty-HQ California after shooting 3/4 of the Western Hemisphere, torturing, and invading countries in his movies, is ridiculous.

Janeane is great and deserves the paycheck and as much airtime as any channel will give her. It's not like she's going down on Glenn Beck for cash.

I still love her, even if her politics are laughable.

Here's a question: what happened to Janeanne's face? She's a big favorite of mine, so I'm not knocking her, and as far as I'm concerned she can have tentacles coming out of her head and I'd still like her, but doesn't the lower portion of her face look all fucked up? Is it bad plastic surgery, is it the result of being an alcoholic, or is it just natural? I don't like 24 so much but do watch it from time to time and cringe every time I see her.

@Palmerlime: Actually her lame performance on AAR, where she came off as a caffeine-buzzed college freshman that just discovered "The Nation" exists is what turned me off to her. And then I saw her at Maxwell's during Hannukahpalooza and I liked her and found her quite funny.

So it's one of these things where she's funny as a performer but when she goes all "political analyst" on us she comes off like kind of an infantile idiot regurgitating what she read on Media Matters.

@gawkimo: Geeze, for someone so against the show, you know so much about it to be able to call it "torture porn". Last time I saw 24 (season 2) it didn't resemble a snuff film at all. Things must have really gone to shit on Fox. What is the format this season? 45 minutes of solid torture, 3 minutes of Jack running, 1 minute for everyone else? No wonder Garafalo's mad! She gets no screen time.

Have you done anything else?
In recent years I've had Botox, which sometimes looks okay and sometimes looks horrible. Sometimes the doctor does too much, and sometimes it's just right. I get it in my smoker's wrinkles. I also once had fat liposuctioned under my chin, which was the biggest waste of time. You couldn't tell one bit of difference. Zero payoff.

Janeane Garofalo is a freak. She needs to stay out of politics. Wow to say that people who are sick of paying high taxes are racist is pretty idiotic. Lets see if she were to be losing her home, had no food to feed her children and no prospect for a job how she would feel. Hey Janeane lets trade places and see if you are against raising gas taxes, excise tax, tolls, taxes on cleaning products, raising the prices of stickers on cars, how about obesity taxes on soda on top of the nickle deposit, higher property tax, higher sewer tax, higher water tax, tax on electricity, state taxes, and do I really need to go on? No Janeane we are not racists especially those of un in inter-racial marraiges we are just sick of having no money because the likes of Obama and Duval Patrick are robbing us blind.
