Cross Dressing 80s Pop Star Admits To Affair With Gavin Rossdale

I thought that rock star Gavin Rossdale’s queertastic affair during the eighties with cross dressing British pop star Marilyn was very, very old news. Boy George wrote about it in his autobiography ages ago, and photos of a young Gavin and Marilyn in loving embraces have been floating around online for as long as I can remember. Still, apparently the story of Gavin’s less than straight past is news again because according to gossip rags, Marilyn has finally spoken out and confirmed the rumours.

Reports NW Magazine:

He’s a happily married man with two kids, but Gavin Rossdale’s dirty secrets have come bursting out of the closet after (male) British singer Marilyn confessed to a secret five-year affair with the singer. In news that’s rocked his wife Gwen Stefani, Gavin’s alleged lover has come clean about their lengthy romance before the Bush frontman became famous. “He was the love of my life,” says Marilyn. “He was just becoming successful in America. I agreed to lie against every grain of my being. We were together five years, but it felt like 40.”

Here’s the thing – didn’t Marilyn admit everything a couple of years ago? Which makes this old news twice over?

As you by no doubt now know i’m not in that house of hell… but

been acting all my ****ing life!) acting more localized in a film
that i’ve been written into especially, which is kinda of cool, as
the story sounds very sadistic, comedic and all East End gangster
drug den kinda vibe (why on EARTH they thought of me is a mystery!)

So please weep not for me ( although you CAN shed a few tears over
my non-exsistant love life, of which 20 years celibacy is REALLY
starting to get on my ****ing t*ts!!) THOUGHT I had a really good
**** partner lined up ( well you CAN’T “blame” me, after the “love”
aspects of having someone like Gavin , which is the main reason
I’ve not even been near the THOUGHT of anything along those kind of
lines since) It’s amazing how very simular old gwen looks like me
huh?.

Anyway enough of that little stroll down memory lane. I’m going
before i say something i’ll regret ( yeah right!!) Keep checking In

So while it may be a surprise to some of Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani’s more conservative fans, the fact is Gwen is undoubtedly well aware of her husband’s past, and if she’s okay with it, I don’t see why such a fuss is being made of the whole thing now. Maybe Gavin fell in love with a cross dressing man once, and then he fell in love with the woman who became his wife?
