Oh Look, It’s The New Wes Cougar Carr Single!

As you read this, I am actually not even here but sitting in a field faffing about and making the most of a Victorian public holiday. I think this means I’m a little like Rufus in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, in which case let me assure you that the future is awesome. It’s great here. The air is clean. The water’s clean. Even the dirt… is clean. Bowling averages are way up. Mini-golf scores are way down. And we have more excellent waterslides than any other planet we communicate with. I’m telling you, this place is great.

Or maybe I’m writing from the past, in which case I am still one of the very few people on earth who know about Wes Carr’s amazing bogan rock album that is coming your way shortly. Obviously I feel quite humbled by this honour, but I do plan on sharing with you my notes about the whole record, but you’re going to have to wait until I get home from Golden Plains for that. On the upside, at least I can offer you the new Wes single ‘Feels Like WOAH’ for you to check out!

Perhaps you will be unsurprised to learn it’s the new theme song for the NRL this year. Thumping fist-pumping Working Class Man-esque rock with an easy chorus for the masses to remember!
