Bingle’N'Pup Nuptials Delayed By The Goddamn Cricket

Yet another reason to loathe the cricket as far as I’m concerned – it’s standing in the way of Lara Bingle finally saying ‘I DO!’ to champion sportsman Michael Clarke. Actually, wait… I don’t care. Still, let’s find out more!

Bride-to-be Lara Bingle can not be happy with the news that she may have to put her wedding plans on hold until next year to accommodate her fiancé Michael Clarke’s mammoth cricket schedule.

Yesterday Confidential received word that the high profile couple had finally – after a 10 month engagement – set a wedding date.

Of course, Confidential had to go out of it’s way to shatter the dreams of young idiot lovers.

October 3, we were joyously informed, was the big day. But after contacting the couple’s agent and Clarke’s employer Cricket Australia, it became clear that the young lovers still have some rather looming obstacles in their way before they can tie the knot, the primary one being Clarke’s cricketing commitments.

“The couple have set no date,” their agent Chris White said yesterday. “And the reason is, quite simply, Clarkie has no time. Not this year.”

So it’s impossible?

The couple could still marry on October 3 and then fly out the next day to India for a working honeymoon – the Indian tour starts on October 5. However sources were adamant yesterday it would not be happening.
